Her eyes were staring at the tree. Allison had her arrow between her fingers and the string of the bow was touching her nose. She was beautiful, smart and she was focussed on a tree instead of on you.
You couldn't blame her for it.
She was good at this whole archer thing. She had been hitting bullseye time after time and not once had she hesitated or flinched.
The arrow flew through the air and once again it hit the exact middle of the board.
"Well, I don't think you need to practice anymore." You clapped your hands and smiled, while Allison turned around to smile back at you.
"I want to try it one more time." She walked towards the tree and she grabbed the arrow.
That was the moment you couldn't wait any longer. You couldn't wait any longer to tell her that you loved her, even though you had no words to say. You couldn't wait any longer to touch her and to kiss her, even though you weren't even sure if she would be okay with that. You just had to try.
"What are you..." Allison turned around while you pushed her with her back to the tree. Immediately she dropped the arrow and her bow on the ground. She didn't wait for you to kiss her. She kissed you first. She wrapped her arms around your neck and pulled you as close to her as she could.
It was everything you had imagined it to be and even more.
