"So..." You walked up to Klaus. "You've been in bed with her?" You had been quite disgusted when you found out what Klaus had been up to when it came to Aurora, even when he didn't seem to think about it twice.
"Of course I have, love... we go way back, remember? I already shared a bed with her long before you were even born. I tried to see if there was still something there. There wasn't. End of story."
You shook your head. You didn't believe him. He had been too shocked over her appearance to be totally unfazed by her appearance right now. "You're a liar, Klaus. You have been for a thousand years! Why should I trust you on this, when you can turn everything around to your own advantage."
He stood up, taking your hand in his... he strained himself not to grip you too tight, and he managed in doing that. "Because this is the truth, Y/N. Why are you so afraid of her? She's no threat to you. She made my sister disappear. If there is anything you can be sure of, it's that I will not forgive her for that."
You turned away, not wanting to look at his face. You would be persuaded by his eyes... you knew that. That always happened. "I trusted you." You had trusted him when Lucien appeared. You had trusted him, even when Elijah hadn't, but now... now you didn't know if you could.
He squeezed your hand, turning you back to him. "Because I can be trusted on this, love. Rest assured... Aurora will get what she deserved. And that is not something she should look forward to."
