Alexia's POV
"So uhm I have something to tell you." I say. Renee is lying opposite to me in my bed. November Rain from Guns N' Roses filling the silence on the background. She took out the joint she had on her mouth and looked at me.
"I have something too but I'm still not high enough to tell you so go first."
"Niall's here." She stops breathing in the joint and takes all in.
"You mean here as in here, here Bradford?" I nod. "May I ask why? And how? I thought he didn't know where you were. Fans?"
"It was actually a coincidence of some sort. From all of the restaurants in Bradford he so happened to step into Jane's. And Jane being the butter heart she is it took her less than five minutes to tell him where we lived and when I was actually coming back." I stop to take another smoke. I feel the weed filling up my lungs the feeling of relieve welcoming me.
"And what is your input in all that?" Sometimes I wish I could tell Renee everything. That way it'd be easier to explain the whole situation, she could give me better advices and to be honest it'd be good to have that someone to talk to. Jane just wouldn't understand me right now because she's on Niall's side no matter what; Austin would just go on with one of his speeches about how he can fix the problem by giving Niall and I an amnesia shot – which is the dumbest idea ever considering there are more people involve, and by people I mean his fans, and by his fans I mean the whole female teenage population. And Niall? Well he can't even look at me right now.
"I don't know... I mean I left for a reason. But seeing him again just made every argument against us being together again, pointless. Have you ever felt like this before?"
" Believe it or not I'm having the same problem as you are..." I sit up looking at her surprised.
"Elaborate."
" Don't go all cupid alright? This is way too complicated for anything to happen. If anything goes wrong I lose more than just a boyfriend." Finally she realized she liked Rob. Took her long enough.
"He's been in love with you for years now Renee. You have nothing to worry about. If you guys get together I'm 107% sure that in a few years I'll be getting a wedding invitation."
"It useless to deny that I'm talking about him. You of all people probably knew this before I ever did. What are you gonna do about Niall?"
"I don't know. He said he needed time and I'm giving him that. And then when time is right I'll decide. I mean it's not just my choice. He has a say in all this." Not to mention the whole 'people after me' doesn't help at all.
"True, what about Jane? Have you talked to her since everything happened?"
"Not much, no. You know Jane she keeps running away from her problems. And now she's avoiding me as much as she can. It's great! I'm hungry aren't you?"
"I could use some Nando's." She smirks.
"Seriously? Using Directioners references? You get way too childish when you get high?" She laughs, I laugh, we all laugh. Laughing is funny.
"Sue me. Are we still going to that club with Rob and his friends?"
*
The music is way too loud, my ears are this close to bleeding. Or maybe they were already. Silently bleeding. Oh the irony. Rob is trying to get one of his friends to drink a completely big cup of vodka. Hey you can't refuse a man's desire for homicide. Renee is drinking her third shot, trying to avoid Rob as much as she could by being right next to him. I see a guy stepping closer to us. Oh better not-
