Niall’s POV
I honestly don’t know what’s wrong with me. There’s just something inside me… It’s like something is warning me that something is going to happen. That didn’t make any sense at all.
We’ve arrived in Zayn’s house a couple of hours ago… After lots of hugs and ‘I missed you’ we all agreed that we’d head down to the restaurant at eight. Harry and I were already waiting for the boys to finish talking with their parents so that we could catch a cab together.
“So I was thinking… Can I join you in your search for Alexia?” Harry said out of the blue. “I miss her. Of course I’m sad and disappointed that she left and I still think she acted horribly towards you but, she made you so happy. Happier than I can even imagine. And if bringing her back to you will make you that happy I think it’s the best that we can do.”
Harry looked at me while I looked at him. I knew my throat was horrible but even if I could give a speech, right now I’d be speechless. No pun intended. It was one thing having Hayden help me but Harry telling me he was welling to do anything to help me was a whole other level. Maybe this was the beginning. First, it was Harry then maybe Liam or Zayn… I knew Louis would be the last one because besides me he was the one who was more hurt by Alexia’s sudden departure. But having Harry, one of my best mates, in my side is the most amazing news so far.

“This soup is beyond delicious!” Liam exclaimed to everyone. “How come we never came here Zayn? I blame you for this.” He joked.
The soups were indeed delicious. It was weird to eat soup in the middle of Summer but this chicken soup was going down my throat like honey. It was delicious and I could already feel my voice coming back…
“Excuse me guys I need to use the bathroom…” It came out as a bare whisper but I guess they all got it.

I looked myself in the mirror. The bags underneath my eyes, the tired look, the unhealthy skin. This wasn’t me, yet it was. I needed Alexia… I just needed her! I felt like punching this stupid mirror!
Why the hell did this had to happen to me? I just want to know why she left me! God why?! She loved me, I loved her wasn’t that enough? Wouldn’t our love conquer every fear and every obstacle we’d have? Why all of the sudden everything changed? Why all the sudden Alexia was too scared to be with me? What happened to make her change her mind.
I get out of the bathroom in a hurry. I can’t stay longer because otherwise I’ll go mad. When I get out though I bump into someone. This person was defiantly girl, an extremely small girl may I add. “I’m so sorry I didn’t see-“ I freeze. This is not happening. This is not actually happening. This can’t be real she can’t be just in front of me! “Jane?!”
“Oh shoot. I’m in big trouble. Can you pretend that you didn’t just bump into me?” Not a word came out of my mouth. I think I was still trying to rationalize that Jane was right in front of me. Suddenly I felt dizzy, my legs began to fail. I began to fall but Jane catches me in time. “Oh my please don’t faint here Niall. Damn it! Austin help me here!” I wasn’t fainting I just lost all my strength. Jane! Jane was here… In Bradford… That meant that Alexia was here too! Or close. “Take him to my office Austin.” I felt Jane move out of the way and I felt two pair of hands holding me.
“Easy there man.” Austin’s voice sounded so distanced. Austin! Austin was here too! “Jane, she’ll kill you.” I heard Jane scowling at him before Austin dragging me to some office. He sat me down in one of the chairs and served a glass of water and handed me. “Drink it you need it.” I was about to ask him about Alexia but he bit me up to it. “She’s not here Niall. She knew you were coming.”
Before I could answer him Jane came in the office and began walking around. “ Seriously Niall from all the restaurants in Bradford you had to come to mine? Could you be more selfish?”
“Jane how would he know? Calm down.” Austin came in my defence.
“W-w-where is she?” I whispered. Both of them looked to each other and then to me. I knew the look in their faces. They pitted me. “Is she ok?” I was in the verge of crying. Alexia could be so close to me and I wouldn’t even know.
“You came in a really bad time Niall… Trust me.” Jane confessed. “She’s not in Bradford she’s not going to be for the next week actually.” She silent herself. I think she wasn’t suppose to tell me anything. “Ughh she’s going to kill me for this. But I can’t stand here and look at you! I mean you look like a freaking lost puppy.”
“Where can I find her Jane?”
“I don’t know either. I just know she’s coming back next week, when you leave.”
“W-why is she running from me?” A tear escaped my eye. Each word that came out of Jane’s mouth was like a dagger in my heart.
“I can’t tell you that Niall I’m sorry. That’s for Alexia to tell you…” Jane looked back to Austin. It was like they were having an inner argument. “ Listen, she’ll hate me for doing this but I have to. She will come back as soon as she is sure that you are back in London. You have to go back ok? Can you try to remain out of the paparazzi radar?” I nod. “Great than a week after you go back to London you come back here. Alexia will be here by now.”
“This is a bad idea… A really bad idea.” Austin said under his breath.
“Shut up Austin you’re not making things better. You have to call me before ok? Because I need to know if it’s safe for you to come back.”
“Why?”
“We are in the middle of a war here. They are after Alexia and-“ Austin caught a signal for Jane to shut up. “It doesn’t matter what matter is that she’s safe you don’t have to worry about her. She is the same girl Niall. Except her hair, which if you ask me looks awful on her.”
“You should go back to your table… Your friends will start wondering.”
“He’s right Niall.” Jane went behind her desk and wrote something on a paper. “Here. You have my number if I don’t answer you it’s because I can’t. I’ll call you back after. And uhm…” She looks for something on her desk and hands me a picture. “I thought you’d like to see her…” Jane smiled at me when I picked the picture.
Alexia. She looked so beautiful. She always did! Even with this new hair that I will need some time to get used to, she looked like an angel. My sweet angel. She’d always be my angel no matter what. That wouldn’t change ever.
I stood up and walked out of the door.
“Oh and Niall…” I looked back at Jane. “She still loves you. Just as much as she did before. That didn’t change.”
“So do I…” Whispered.
