"Holy crap, there he is!" I yelled out, making poor Libby scream too. She was scared by my sudden voice change.

"Sorry!"

"Who?" she asked.

"Calum, for fucks sake!!" I smiled.

"Are you serious?" She asked, and I was.

"Yes! Now. Bye. I need to talk to him," I quickly said before pulling up right in front of him, next to the pavement. Luckily Libby hung up, so I had one thing less to think about.

"Need a lift?" I asked through my now open window, to him walking past. He hesitated a little before looking at me, but when he did, his face lid up.

"Camila!" he cheered, taking his headphones off. "Hey stranger" he then said, trying to be cooler. I laughed.

"Feels like it," I hinted.

"Yeah, where the hell did you go? I haven't seen you around," he asked.

"Same to you."

We just watched each other for a little, before I managed to speak up.

"Do you want a ride to wherever you're going?" I asked him again.

"Oh, yes thank you," he said and moved to the side where the passenger seat was.

"I was actually supposed to go to the mall. I need a pair of shoes now, these are absolutely worn," Calum explained.

"Sure, want me to help?" I asked smilingly.

"Are you serious?" he smiled.

"Yeah."

"I forgot to ask for your number that night," he said, changing theme quickly.

"Yeah, I figured!" I teased him.

We drove around a little before deciding to go to the mall. I looked over at Calum to adore his pretty face, but he immediately looked back. Crap! This was supposed to be like the thing they do in romantic movies where two people shift between looking at each other. My life had never been like in a movie anyway, so why would I even expect that? Stupid.

"Hi mum" I replied, when she had called me up three times during the ride to the mall.

"Thank god, Camila! Why didn't you answer?" she asked panicky as always, but I sighed. I was about to park the car, and was so annoyed with mum that I just couldn't keep it anymore.

"The car calling system didn't work properly until now," I lied.

"Alright, I was just wondering where you are," she then asked.

"I'm out for a drive with Calum! I met him downtown!" I smiled, soon realizing that she couldn't see me.

"Calum? That bloke you've been talking about?" she asked. Normally I would have been embarrassed about her saying that, but now I was totally fine with it.

"That's him," I smiled and looked over at him. He was giggling, and I couldn't stop myself.

"Oh, that's great honey! You found him after all, didn't you? she said, still not aware that he could hear her.

"He seems nice" she added.

"Mum, you're on speaker in my car, where Calum also is," I hinted to her.

"What? Oh, shoot. I forgot. Hi to you Calum," she then giggled.

"Hi Camila's mum. Nice to talk to you!" Calum answered her. Luke stayed silent.

"Oh, call me Catherine, please," mum said, probably blessed about his manners.

"Alright," he smiled. I had now parked, but we stayed in the car a little.

"Will we see you this afternoon?" she asked Calum.

"I don't know. Maybe?" Calum said after a moment of thinking. He looked over at me.

"Why don't we make a good dinner together, to get to know each other better?" mum then suggested. I officially loved my mum. She always loved to have a good time with people, and often invited people for both dinners, barbecues and tea parties.

"That sounds great, but only if Camila is fine with it," Calum replied, looking hopeful at me. I was just smiling.

"What do you say Cam? If the two of you go to a store to get something to eat, we could make it when you get home?" mum suggested again.

"Of course mum, thanks a lot! Will dad join us?" I asked, already planning everything.

"Yes, dad's already home. Actually, why don't you get something pretty so we can decorate the table too? We haven't upgraded that in ages now" mum asked, making me smile even wider.

"Are you serious mum? You're an angel!" I smiled.

"Yes, absolutely. When will you be home? Dad and I will clean up a bit while you're gone" she finished.

"In an hour and a half, maybe?" I decided, and soon said bye to mum.

"Ah, I love mum when she's in that mood!" I exclaimed and turned the engine off.

"Yeah, me too. She sounded so nice and cozy!" Calum agreed.

"And I love these things too. I love to have a good time with people I really care about. And I'll assure you. My parent's are the kindest people ever," I told Calum.

"I can tell," he smiled. I breathed quickly.
