"Mum? Please mum, something's wrong," I tried several times, until dad suddenly turned. I was pressing the left side of my chest to try and make the pain disappear, but it didn't work.
"Honey, are you okay?" dad asked panicked. I shook my head, in even more tears than before.
"I think I need to go to the hospital like the last time," I explained to him, and dad hurried out of bed.
"Catherine, wake up. We need to go to the hospital," he said to mum, turning the light on. She shot up, and when she saw me, only in my underwear and Calum's shirt, crying like a baby, she jumped out of bed.
"Let's get dressed and go, honey," she said, leading metowards the door.
"No, mum. I can't. I can't tell Calum like this. He doesn't know," I weakly let out, and as I was in need for something to stop that fucking pain, Calum opened the door slightly.
"What's going on?" he asked, looking at my dad before me and mum.
"Mila, what's wrong?" he asked, shocked when he looked at me. I cried more, knowing how hurt Calum must feel.
"Have I done something wrong?" he tried again, making me look back up at him, shaking my head and finding my way over to him to let him hold me tight.
"No, honey. She's just got some issues. She's in pain now, and it's quite serious, so we have to go to the hospital," mum gently explained. I was now crying mostly because of how helpless I felt.
"What?!" he let out, quite loud. I tried to relax, feeling his warm skin to my cheek, really wanting it all to just disappear in a matter of seconds.
"Come on, let's go!" he then let out, bossing my parent's around. He took it so seriously, and didn't even care that I'd kept this massive secret from him.
We arrived in twenty minutes, dad screaming for a doctor, Calum carrying me like he had done all since we left my parent's room. It really hurt now, and I knew it was really dangerous. The last time this happened, they said that my heart couldn't take another round. This was that round my heart couldn't take.
My chest was tight, and I struggled to breathe. My back had started hurting, and my arms were in so much pain, I just let them lay on my chest, unable to move them. The well known doctor came rushing into the room I was lying at. He knew me well, and drugged me down immediately. He knew that I hated everything I saw any heard when he did stuff on me, so I didn't have to anymore. The fact that some tube was going to be piled up the vein in my arm, and press the veins in my heart that was closing, made me terrified.
When I woke up again, I felt my hand being held by someone elses, and hushed voices across the room. I opened my eyes, and looked around the room to see if any nurses or doctors were near me. They weren't.
"How are you feeling, honey?" mum asked me, catching my free hand.
"Fine," I quickly replied, but after some thoughts, I realized my head was totally lost.
"Am I in danger mum?" I asked her, feeling my tears appearing again.
"Not right now love, but they'll have to do something very soon," she assured me.
I then smiled at her, and remembered the other hand that was held. There sat a really worried Calum, staring at me in sorrow. I smiled at him too.
"I've told Calum about this, so you don't have to," mum then informed me.
"Why didn't you tell me before?" he asked me, seeming heartbroken. I felt like he blew this up a little, but I had to respect that every man took things differently.
"I didn't dare to," I weakly let out. "Every time I've been talking about it with someone, things have happened, and I've ended up here," I explained to him. He stopped asking.
"I'm sorry though, I wish I had the balls to tell you before, and not when I'm about to die," I added, looking at mum and dad. I knew they hated it when I had those thoughts, but I somehow knew it was true this time.
