"Is this where the party's at?" I yelled when we walked in the doors, Calum behind me with the three bags. Mum did her usual little humming thing, "yoohoo."

"Where do you want these?" Calum asked, once he had his shoes off.

"Um, you can take them to the kitchen" I sweetly answered suggesting him to follow me there.

"Hello you two!" mum smiled widely when she saw us. I signalized for Calum to place the bags on the counter, while I rushed over to mum to hug her tight.

"Thank you so much for being the coolest, kindest, prettiest, most awesome mother in the whole world!" I said to her.

"Aw, thank you! I love you Camila," she replied, and I kissed her cheek quickly. I knew Calum was waiting for me to finish so he could greet mum too.

"Hi Catherine, nice to meet you," Calum smiled and hugged her quickly.

"Hello Calum. Nice to finally meet you too. I'm glad you could join us on this" she smiled at him.

"Yeah, I'm glad too! This sounds like so much fun! You two are already the kindest people I've ever met!" he said to mum. Then dad came in. Calum backed down a little, seeming scared, almost.

"Hello, nice to see you again sir," he said to dad and shook his hand.

"Hi, Calum, was it?" dad asked.

"Yes sir."

"Peter here and please don't call me sir. I'm your mate, not your boss," dad smiled. We all giggled, and Calum seemed a bit confused.

"Relax Calum; we're not a strict family. Do what you want in this house. Mum and dad are basically my best friends, so there's no need to be afraid of them," I told him, making him calm down a little.

"Good to know," he smiled and watched mum unpack the bags.

"What do you want to do? Do you want to set the table, or cook?" mum asked us.

"I'm not good at cooking, so I don't think I should be responsible for any of that," Calum hurried saying.

"Oh, I'm sure you'll do just fine!" mum disagreed with him.

"Why don't the two of you set the table and all that, and dad and I can make the food?" mum offered, and everyone agreed.

They began, and I grabbed the bad of decorations and went over to the table.

"I'm sorry if they're a bit weird, but you'll get used to it," I assured him.

"No, not at all. I really do like them!" he answered quickly, but low. He probably didn't want them to hear. I smiled, and said:

"Good! I'd love it if we all became really close and everything," I admitted, and sat down on one of the chairs. Calum and I had chosen to put some light green decorations on the table, and we even bought mum light blue flowers. Calum bought them, actually, because he wanted to say thank you to mum.

"Here, go give these to mum, she'll love you forever if you tell her you bought them for her" I hintet do Calum, and he shot up form his chair.

"Alright!" he said and laughed. He seemed to fit in really well with my family.

I watched him as he walked over to her, saying:

"Catherine, I've bought these for you to say thank you for inviting me to this lovely dinner. I'd also like to thank you for creating that daughter of yours. I could seriously not ask for anything better!" he said, making me blush.

"Aw, thank you, Calum! They're so pretty!" mum exclaimed and accepted them from Calum's hands. She smelled them, and started unwrapping them. I walked over too, and made sure I'd tell Calum I really like him too. He stood, leaning his hand and right hip on the counter, so I saw the possibility to hug him tightly, sneaking my arms around him while feeling his muscular body.

I then kissed him.
