~Alia'a POV~

I woke up and it was ten I almost panicked when I remembered Nate ORDERED me to stay home today. I went and grabbed the contract again and reread it again. I turned my light on and grabbed a note pad to write down every concern I had with this thing which may as well be the whole thing. I began writing when my door opened.

"Come out to the great room right now." Libby my step mother said I rubbed my eyes being passed out really did take a toll on a person. I pushed out of my desk and sat down in the great room on one of the stools. My dad started.

"Would you like to explain to me exactly what happened last night."

"Well...okay the night before my mother and I had a big blow out and I I just needed to let off some steam, when I was walking I saw a club-you know what! I'm a kid! Kids do stupid shit okay god I made a mistake and Nate picked up the pieces of my mess so why don't you all go fuck yourselfs!" I said I got up looking at their stunned faces I grabbed the note pad and the contract and walked out the door. I walked around when hunger caught me. I walked around until I came to a donut shop. I went in got a donut and sat down working on the contract. It was then I knew I wanted to sign it but under my rules.

"I don't care I will be at your office at 3:30 weather you have a patient or not. You are going to come with me to check out a friend of mine!" I looked up and saw no one other than Nate. He was wearing grey sweat pants and a white T shirt yelling at someone on the phone. "Do I make myself clear? Good." He hung up his phone. "Can I get a glazed donut." He snapped at the poor Asian lady. He ran a hand through his hair. The lady handed him a bag he turned to leave when his eyes landed on me. I smiled he softened then looked angry. He walked over and boy did he look pissed. "What are you doing here I thought I told you to stay home not go out and about." I frowned.

"Sorry." I scooted over to make room for him. His face seemed to soften and he took the seat across from me lifting my legs and placing them in his lap and began stroking my legs. "In my defense you did say not to go to school and I'm not at school so technically I didn't disobey."

"Good point miss Mayfair." I smiled and began to work on the contract. "How are you feeling?" He said stoking my legs. It felt very comforting, and I actually started to relax. How did he have this effect on me?

"Tired if I am honest."

"I would prefer it if you were honest, I hate liars. So why were you actually out?"

"My parents started giving me crap so I started telling them what happened between me and my mother but then I told them to go fuck themselves." His eyes narrowed and he brought his hand down on my leg and it hurt bad. "Ah what was that for?"

"Watch your language, I do not believe woman should curse." I bent back down and began working on the contract. "What are you working on?" He pulled it away from me and looked at my hand writing and the contract. He looked up at me. "You're thinking about it?" I squirmed slightly.

"Well I have a bit of a methodical mind. I like to plan things out IF I do sign it these are my problems. IF I'm not saying I will because the more I read it the more I am leaning towards no." He knit his brow together.

"How many times have you read it?"

"On-" I stopped remembering he hated liars. I let out a breath. "I lost track." He smiled.

"So this interests you?"

"I'd be lying if I said otherwise."

"Tell me what concerns you?"

"What's the deal between you and Katie?" It came out of my mouth before I could stop it. He looked at me then snickered.

"Ah Kat my pretty pretty kitty Kat, what makes you think we had something?"
