Chapter 10

~Nate's POV~

   Two weeks I have been putting up with this for two god damn weeks I fumed to myself as I was driving to my cousins house for some 'important announcement' dinner thing, I've spent the last two weeks going to school and doing everything I can to show Alia that I really am a good guy while trying not to get too close to her. If this goes south I don't want to never be able to live again Alia Mayfair you just may be the death of me. My phone rang from the passenger seat. I grabbed it and answered.

"Nate, talk to me."

"Nate finally you're picking up, where are you something just happened and your father isn't here to deal with it-" I groaned it was my cousin Silvia the one who had the oh so important dinner this evening.

"Sil you are at your house nothing that bad could have happened."

"Nate you don't understand it was an accident Matt didn't know about the bad blood-"

"Sil I will be there shortly okay?"  I hung up she can get mad at me later. I had to focus on driving if I was going to make it by 6:30, there was an emergency at one of our San Fransisco clubs that I had to deal with. My phone went off again I pick it up.

"Silvia I told you I will help you when I get there just be patient I'm on the freeway right now coming back from San Fran so leave me alone if you want me to make it on time."

"Oh sorry it's Alia...who's Silvia?" I blinked god damn this girl 

"What is it Alia?" I said doing my best to keep the anger out of my voice. I failed.

"Sorry it's just I noticed you weren't at school today or yesterday I was kind of worried. Anyway I wanted to taIlk to you about well...I wanted to talk."  I didn't have time for this, I'll take her with me. I pulled off the freeway, she would need a dress. 

"Okay I will be there in half an hour."

   I went into the first department store I saw. I walked around until I was able to find a dress and shoes for her. It was a peach colored dress it was strapless and cinched in at the waist, from the waist it flowed in upper lower fashion. That was covered in sheer material with a peach slip. I grabbed the dress and matching color 3 inch heels. I paid for it quickly and was on the road. True to my word I was at her house in 30 minutes. I knocked on the door.

"Oh Nate hi um-" I walked in. "Come in." I handed her the bag of clothes I had got for her. 

"Put these on as fast as you can." She stared at me for a moment. I pushed her towards her room. "Now hurry." She closed the door and I paced back and forth in her living room. Manny came out and saw me.

"Ah christ what are you doing here." Alia came out and I grabbed her wrist.

"Sorry Manny I don't have time to engage in conversation right now." I said as I pulled Alia out the door. She was tripping behind me so I picked her up. I sprinted to my car opened the passenger side, set Alia down and buckled her. I closed the door and moved to drivers side. 

"Nate what is going on."

"Sorry Alia you caught me at a bit of a bad time." I handed her my phone as I turned my car on. "I need you to find the name Silvia and dial it." She turned my phone on.

"What's the password?" 

"1527." 

"Here." She handed me the phone.
