~Nate's POV~
When I woke up Alia was not in my arms. I let out a sigh and stetched I pulled myself out of bed, could it have just been a dream? No no way in hell, I made my way to the kitchen and followed the sound of giggling. I walked in and saw my mother standing over the stove and Alia sitting criss-crossed on one of the chairs. She looked over at me and smiled.
"Morning!" She said with a cheery smile. I nodded and smiled back at her. I took one of the open chairs around the table and turned to my mother.
"Is father up yet?" My mother shook her head as she set down my meal before me. "How upset is he?"
"Well he was pretty mad last night I'm not sure how he will be when he wakes up, he was proud of you for the way you handled Katlin." I scoffed.
"Don't even mention that child's name in this house I have never wanted to hurt her more than I did last night...but of course she came with the Mason's kid."
"Yours or not she was still out of control and you handled it beautifully." I shrugged and took a sip of my orange juice.
"Um so is his name Mason or Jack, I'm a bit confused..."I heard Alia ask. I smiled hearing her voice.
"You're a morning person aren't you doll?"
"Oh if you think I'm bad you should see Many in the morning he can not stop talking for the life of him." I scrunched my face in disdain.
"I don't want to see much of Manny thank you very much. To address your earlier question his name is Jack Mason, his father also runs clubs here and there, his problem is he won't open it to the public, we keep it separate the public and then the back rooms, stage, and private rooms are used for the members."
"Wow...you're really good at all this club stuff are'nt you?" She asked me sweetly.
"Well he learned from the best." I heard my father say as he descended the stair case.
"That I did, good morning father."
"Good morning Nathaniel." My father sat down I looked for any amount of body language to see how mad he was, but he's my father and as usual he gave nothing away. "Sleep well?" I snapped out of my thoughts.
"Yes I did," I glanced over at Alia. "It was wonderful." A pink blush tinted her cheeks making me laugh because we barley did anything. "What did you think about Silvia's engagement announcement?"
"Ever the drama queen, I still can't believe she gave up her mistress title for that boy." I shrugged. "You would never give up you're title for a silly girl will you?" He said ever coolly, his question caught me off guard.
"No of course not." He nodded
"I didn't think so." He said satisfied with my answer. I swallow.
"Have you had enough to eat Alia, I need to get you home."
"Oh uh-huh I'm full." I nodded and took another look at my father. "I'll be back soon." My father nodded as he wiped his mouth with a napkin.
"See you when you get home Nathaniel." I nodded and lead Alia out of the kitchen and to the garage. I nodded towards my car.
"Get in." I grabbed my keys and went into the drivers seat. Alia looked at me concern all over her face as I pulled out.
"Are you okay Na-Sir?" I smiled hearing the concern in her voice.
