~Meanwhile, In the Death Room (narrator POV)~

Shinigami Sama leaned a little closer to his mirror, watching the exchange in the dark alley. He, too, was wondering what the odd fox-girl could be hiding, for he couldn't find any information in the system on her past during her enrollment to the DWMA.
Spirit peered curiously around the tall masked figure to get a glimpse at the scene. "What's going on?" the pushy Death Scythe asked, alcohol heavy in his breath from his most recent visit to Chupacabra's.
"Mmmm... It seems that the two developing kishins on this mission are Alexus' sisters, and Alexus is about to explain her hidden past to Kid for the first time," Lord Death said matter-of-factly as he turned to face Spirit. The red-headed weapon stepped closer to the image on the mirror and squinted at the four figures standing amidst the heavy downpour. He strained to hear the muffled speaking coming from the fox-eared girl...
"...our mom and dad, or... our 'creaters', I should say, were two scientists who wanted to create perfect beings - a magic-human-animal-hybrid. They messed around with DNA, bending the laws of science, mixing it with the essence of a magic witch soul. Blair was the first, and they were proud of their creation. But they got carried away; they wanted more power, they were going to create an entire army. Then they created Duff, accidentally 'discovering' how to 'activate' the meister gene. Then, they attempted creating a weapon form for Duff to wield - me. Of course, it was all blind guessing on how to 'wake up' the weapon gene. Instead of transforming into a weapon, I developed abnormally powerful magic, unknowingly destroying entire buildings while I was only an infant. Of course, then I became their most prized creation. They tried to train me to become a weapon of mass destruction - a strong, evil soul that they could manipulate to their bidding. I would only pretend to be weak, to preform only pitiful, pointless attacks so they would give up on me. They eventually stopped trying, but they still hoped, pampering me with material objects, expensive and luxurious furniture, even my own servants to try and get me to change my mind - to follow them. I still refused, but they kept insisting. After all that, they knew they still had to create a weapon for Duff, who was more than eager to follow our creators' evil ways. That's when they created our youngest sister Caitlyn, a Demon Blade. There. End of story." Alexus stared blankly at the wall with emotions running high, not even wanting to look at Kid, or his reaction.
The image faded away, and Lord Death exchanged a glance with Spirit, both of their eyebrows raised. (A/N: If Lord Death's eyebrows were visible. Just... his eyebrows are raised, whether you can see them or not. Deal with it.)

~Back in the rainy alleyway (normal POV)~

Duff scoffed. "'Ohhh I have abnormally powerful magic!'" she quoted in an over-exaggerated, high pitched voice, mocking you. "You still believe that?!" Duff spat. "You don't have strong magic! The only thing you were good at was whipping up a dress or socks! Caitlyn could do that!" she laughed at her stinging humor, making fun of the younger sister's lack of magical ability. "So is that how you plan to defeat me? Dress me to death? You've gotta be kidding me! What to you think about that, Kid? Hahaha!"
You looked up at Kid, expecting to see his disapproving yellow eyes gaze back at you, disgusted and wishing to get away from you for being an abnormal freak; but he still stood there, his firey golden orbs boring holes into Duff's skull filled with rage. "That's why you hate her?" he growled at the laughing girl. "Because you've been living in her shadow your whole life? -and rightfully so, too! She is eight times more perfect than you could ever dream of being! You are a vile disgrace to everything beautiful in my life! Look at you, you aren't even symmetrical!" He shot at Duff, but she dodged the attack. Caitlyn immediately shifted into weapon form and dropped into her hand, both in a ready fighting stance.
You stared at Kid, a slight blush growing on your cheeks. 'I-Is he really that loyal? He loves me that much?' You gazed at the boy, looking as if he were ready to die for you, if that's what it took.
You stood by Kid, shifting into a fighting stance yourself, ready to show them both what you really had in store.
