Duff scowled at you and raised her hand to signal you forward. "Let's do this."

With a loud scream, you charged at her, swinging Caitlyn's blade at her body. She ducked out of the way just in time to avoid the attacks. You managed to cut her arm, but just barely. You kept slashing the knife at your sister, not giving up no matter how much the wound in your chest hurt.

You aimed for your sibling's neck, missing her skin by only an inch.

"You'll never beat me, Alexus!" Duff grabbed your wrist and dug her fingernails into your flesh, drawing blood.

Caitlyn's knife form dropped to the ground with a *clank*, and she shifted into her human form, shaking and scared to the verge of tears. She hurriedly crawled to the corner, hiding behind a stack of crates and a dumpster.

A low whimper ecaped your throat, but you were unphased by the pain throbbing in your wrist. It was nothing compared to the knife wound in your chest. You stared through Duff's eyes with a hateful glare.

"Wrong." You quickly took this chance to grab her by the throat. You picked her up and slammed her head into the ground, causing drops of blood to splatter everywhere.

She erupted into a loud fit of laughter, her whole body shaking on the ground.

"It's all over Alexus... I win..." she screamed between laughter. "The wound in your chest will kill you!! Hahahaha!! Poor little Reaper Boy will have to suffer without you! Haha!" Her laughter ate at your conscience, gnawing away at your sanity as well.

"NO!" You screamed at your sister, yelling at the top of your lungs. You held on to her neck tighter, slamming her head into the asphalt repeatedly while she laughed. "No! NO!! No no no no no!!!" You screamed in her face. Your anger triggered you magic once again, and electricity shot from your fingertips and into her body. Her whole being convulsed from the shock and the slamming of her head into the pavement. "No no no no no no!!!" You shouted again and again as if you were the insane one now.

A familiar motorcycle ripped down the alleyway, the motor roaring. Three figures hopped off the vehicle and rushed to the scene.

A hand came down to rest on your shoulder and you stopped bashing your sister's head into the ground, and you realized what you were doing. You looked up over your shoulder to see Soul, then your eyes fell on Crona - who was standing next to Liz, Patty, and Kid. Maka was kneeling beside the half-hidden Caitlyn, softly embracing your younger sister. Neither of them seemed to be moving, but Caitlyn's figure slightly shook from either fright or crying, you couldn't really tell.

"Yo, Alexus. You okay?" Soul cooly asked.

You slowly looked down at your hands, spotted with blood and steaming slightly (from the electricity in the magic). You stiffly nodded your head, though you weren't completely okay.

Soul removed his hand and left to question Liz about what the hell went on here.

You slumped down beside Duff's cold body, hanging your head in shame, and the remorse you feared you would feel. Tears welled up in your eyes, and your heart dropped.

The pain came rushing back quickly, and your thoughts went cold as you fully processed the results of this fight.

You felt the blackness pressing in on you, and you fell over, your eyes closing. Whether you were dying or just passing out, you didn't know, and you were in too much pain to care.

Your heartbeat, at first pounding in your ear, began to fade and weaken. This was the end.
