Should I call her back?
What am I supposed to do?
Did Caroline tell her?
Maybe Albert did...

I grabbed my phone, dialing Caroline's number quickly. Caroline is my best friend back in California. We shared a dorm together and everything. After a few rings, a tired voice whispered through the phone.
"Hello?"

"Hi, Caroline. It's Francesca."

Her voice suddenly lit up,"Oh, hey fran. How's London?"

"Did you tell my mom?"

"No. I would never."

"Who told her then?" My eyebrows knitted together in frustration.

"I have no idea. How do you know she knows?"

"I don't know for sure but she called me at midnight."

"Oh God, Fran. I'm not sure.I'm sorry."

"It's okay. Thanks though."

"No problem. " Click. She hung up.

I set my phone down and sighed. I need sleep. I just really need to rest. I rubbed my eyes, my hands trailing down my face as I looked up at the ceiling.

She can not know.

The next day

I leapt into my black skinny jeans with a floral collared shirt over it. I threw my hair into a ponytail, put on my makeup and went on with my day. Which meant waking up at 2 in the afternoon and finally leaving the apartment.

"Hello, Sarah!" I said to the old lady at the desk who waved at me with the sweetest smile possible.

"Hello, Frankie." I stopped in my tracks with a confused smirk. Turning around, I raised an eyebrow.

"Where did Frankie come from?" I laughed.

"Oh. Dan always calls you that whenever he's talking to the other employees and all, dear."

Dan is talking about me. Oh God. I hope he isn't trashing me.

"Oh, really now?" I chuckled.

"Yes. All the time now, here recently. He says how you have a beautiful smile and how your shortness is adorable. Quite cheeky, Daniel is. Oh! And there he is now!"

I swiftly turned around to see Dan standing awkwardly with a pile of organized towels in his arms after hearing his name many times.

"Oh hello." I smirked a devilish grin.

"Hi.." He said, gulping. His British accent wavering nervously.

"Well." I said, interrupting the silence, "I'm gonna go grab some coffee. Anyone know where any coffee sho-"

I was instantly cut off by the happy shriek of a granny. "Oh Daniel!! This is your chance! Here, here," she walked over to him, snatching the towels out of his hands, "I'll put these away. You take her out for some coffee. Show her around. Go get dressed." She demanded, pushing him towards the elevators with her one free hand.

Dan stumbled backwards in shock. A very sudden move from Sarah.

"Go on now!" She turned him around and smacked his butt, making him jump a little and rush into the elevator.
