Phil was wandering around the city with us, wide eyed. His eyes as light blue as the sky.

Suddenly, he gasped with excitement.

"Echo in the Shadows is out! We have to watch it!" Phil's finger pointed towards the eerie poster filled with fog, trees and scraps of metal.

Dan trembles, not being the scary movie person.

"We have to, Dan!" Phil's feet lightly tapped on the cement, anxiously.

"Fine." Dan cracked a smile, chuckling. I followed along them, buying our tickets and entering the theatre.

Dan's heart was beating quickly as the passengers on the plane flew down toward the ground, slamming into the dark woods. Pieces of metal flew across the ground, entering into trees and setting it aflame.

He jumped at the site, grabbing my hand tightly without thinking. I patted it awkwardly, then shoved my hand back into the popcorn.

Even though the lights were off in the small room, I could still see the redness flood to Dan's cheeks.

Phil joined my hand, grabbing a handful of popcorn and smiling at me. He has such a bright, loving smile for someone having something so stressful in his life.

The theatre got very silent, you could hear, almost feel the heart beats around you.

It was somewhat comforting to me.
