*3 weeks later*

"Okay... Yeah. Sounds good." I smiled, my foot dancing happily on the ground.

"Okay. See you soon." I hung up the phone, setting it down.

I couldn't wait for Caroline to get here. She's already at the airport, should be boarding soon.

I haven't seen her in months.

Dan knocked on the door, walking in. White polo, black pants.

"I'm going down to work at the pool for a while. If you need me, I'll be there." He cracked a half smile and slowly closed the door behind him. I just may take a swim. It's been a while.

I cleaned up the apartment, dusting under random things placed around on drawers and desks from my dorm room.

I turned up my music, dancing softly with my broom, singing into the end of it.

"I... Can't.. Help.. Falling in loooove with you." I chuckled, spinning the broom around.

Suddenly, my phone vibrated against the table.

I picked it up, observing a text.

Caroline: I love you.

I smiled at it, responding to her.

Me: I love you, too! Can't wait till you get here!

Setting the phone back down, I continued freshening up the apartment.

A few hours later, I decided to take a swim.

I slipped on my bathing suit, tying up my hair. I grabbed a towel Dan had left on my couch and flung it over my shoulder.

I waved at Sarah standing at the counter, her frail hand waving back.

Once reaching the pool, I slipped into the water secluded from the rest of the people.

The TV provided by the apartments chatted about, going from celebrity news to political views.

I closed my eyes, listening in.

"Donald Trump declaring war against ISIS when he becomes President! Breaking news, the remains of Flight 139 traveling to London, England were found in a corn field in Michigan. The plane seems to have lost control, bursting into flames when it hit the ground. Scraps from the aircraft have been found strung across the scene from the explosion. No survivors have been found. More information will be released."

My stomach turned and my focus slowly shifted to the TV, showing the plane, flames and smoke blazing off of it.

I saw Dan. Him staring at me, mouth open in shock. His eyes spilling with tears.

"Frankie.." He whispered as I remembered the text.

"I love you." 3:07. A minute before the plane crashed.
