" Dan, wake up! " I heard from my left, as I lifted my arm from my forehead.

" What? "  I looked at his digital clock, which was glowing green. It currently read out 6:19 " Phil! It's six in the morning. Why are you waking me up this early? " I said, replacing my wrist on my forehead.

" School..? We still have to school Dan." He said. Immediately my thoughts filled with horrid thoughts of bullies, spending 20- 30 minutes in the bathroom, just for crying, failing quizzes from anxiety, depression, coming home to yelling father from bad grades.

" P-Phil please don't make me go please." I said, hiding under the covers, trying to make sure he couldn't get to me.

" Dan? Are you okay? What's wrong?"

     " I just don't like school.." I sniffled.

" Come on Dan, every kid has to go through school, you must not hate it that badly."

" But I do. It's the worst thing ever. Let's not go. Please Phil?" I pouted.

" Dan! Phil! Wake up! You have school! " Yelled Phil's mother from down stairs.

" You see Dan? We have to get up. Don't make me face everyone at school alone." Phil frowned, leaving me feeling guilty.  I got up and put on my clothes, and Phil happily squealed. We got ready and went downstairs, and happily ate the breakfast Phil's mum has prepared for them.

"So Dan, I know it's been tough on you and everything, and I just wanted to tell you that I love you. " Phil said, staring at his plate, ready to put it in the sink, and then at me, with a small, meaningful grin.

We hopped onto the bus and sat next to each other in the back of the bus, where nobody really was. Everyone liked to sit in the front. I have no idea why..

We got into school, both of our stomachs feeling like we just fucked in front of the whole school.

Our tummys just felt like we just held out breath for 20 minutes and went on the twistiest rollercoaster we've ever been on.

     "Hey Phil, " " Hey Dan! " " Hi guys " " Hey " " Hi "

Murmurs were spreading throughout the school with every step we took. We sat in our homeroom, and talked for a bit before the announcements.

" Good morning. Today is May 14th, 2015. Please stand and join me for the Pledge of Allegiance." The announcements started. Little whispers were heard throughout the rest of it.

" Today we wish a happy birthday to : Amanda Graceffa, ninth grade student, Maxwell Dolan, 12th Grade student and Hannah Nelson, 12th grade student. If you would like to donate to the suicide prevention campaign, you can hand the money into your homeroom teacher. Thank you "

Phil and I gave a glare, but the announcements started again.

     "Dan. I heard you're gay."

" What? No."

" Dan. Don't try to fucking lie to me. I didn't raise a homosexual. One of the nurses at the hospital you stayed in called me to tell me to treat you a little better and to be more supportive for you, because you found a mate in there."

"No dad, he's just a f-friend."

"Dan, listen to me. I didn't raise a fucking homosexual. You need to rethink your life choices. Think about someone other than yourself, and go kill yourself or something, because I don't want you in my life, and neither does anyone else."
