Sarah's POV

I'm watching Netflix and working on math homework one night when my phone buzzes. I pick it up and see that it's a notification.

New Story Vote from PillyPie22.

I smile and immediately go and message the girl.

mssarahcatherinepaulson: Thanks for voting for my story! I'm glad there's someone else on wattpad in this fandom! :)

I send the message and go back to doing my homework.

After I finish all of my homework and get into bed, I check to see if PillyPie22 messaged me back. She didn't. I shrug and plug my phone in to charge and go to sleep.

I wake up the next morning and check my phone. Still no message from PillyPie22. Maybe she doesn't want to talk. I'll leave her alone. I don't want to bug her. I'll just keep going on like nothing happened.

~ Nine Days Later ~

After I get done with my classes and am on my way back to my dorm room that I share with my friend Amanda my phone buzzes. I look and see a notification from Wattpad.

New message from PillyPie22.

I wait to open it until I get back to my dorm. I open it and smile.

PillyPie22: Hi! Sorry I didn't message you earlier I've been really busy. Also it was no problem to vote for your story. I really really like it! :)

I instantly message her back.

mssarahcatherinepaulson: It's great to hear from you! My name is Sarah. Would you like to talk?

PillyPie22: Hey Sarah I'm Lily. Sure I'd love to talk to you.

Lily and I talk for hours. I can't help but have this instant connection to her. I figured out Lily has two brothers, one younger and one older. I told her I had a younger sister. Lily is in college too and is studying theatre and I'm studying acting. We finally stop talking at around midnight and we promise to talk tomorrow.

~ Three Months Later ~

Lily and I have been talking for a while now and we've gotten really close. There's not a day that goes by that we haven't to each other. Instead of messaging on Wattpad, we now call and text. I think and falling for her and I'm falling hard.

I'm snapped out of my thoughts by my phone buzzing with a new text.

Lily: Hey Paulsy :)

Sarah: Hey LovePants :) What are you doing?

Lily: Just thinking about you. What are you up to?

Sarah: The same thing. Can I call?

Lily: Sure :)

I smile and call her. We talk for a while and Amanda comes in. I wave at her and continue talking to Lily. We talk for a little while longer and then say our goodbyes and Amanda looks at me.
