Cordelia's POV

I hurriedly walk down the steps of the academy's staircase. I see Misty standing by he door waiting and I go over to her and kiss her cheek.

"You ready, Dee?" Misty asks.

"Almost, I have to make sure Zoe, Madison, and Queenie are going to be ok with the girls by themselves tonight." I say and smile at her. "But after that I'm all yours." She smiles and nods. I go into the kitchen where the girls are playing a card game at the table while Kyle is cooking dinner.

"Hey Cordy." Madison says glancing up at me and I hold back a grimace at the terrible nickname.

"Hi. Are you guys going to be ok with the girls tonight?" I ask biting my lip nervously.

"We'll be fine Miss. Cordelia. Go enjoy your first night out alone with Misty." Zoe says smiling reassuringly to me.

"Yeah, go enjoy with your girl." Queenie says smiling too.

"Maybe you'll finally get laid." Madison mutters and I blush.

"Thanks girls. I'll see you guys later." I say ignoring Madison's comment.

They say bye as I leave and go back over to Misty. I grab my purse and keys and smile up at the taller witch.

"Lets go."

Misty wraps her arm around me as we walk out to the car. We get in the car and Misty's Fleetwood Mac CD starts to play. The swamp witch smiles and starts to sing along to Rhiannon. I drive us to the restaurant. We get out and go in and I go up to the hostess.

"Reservation for Goode." I say and she nods and leads us to a table set for two. A candle sits in the middle of the table and a jazz band plays on a stage across the room.

"Delia, this is great!" Misty says looking around excitedly after our waiter gets our drink order.

"I'm glad you like it, Mist." I say smiling and pick up the menu.

"What are you going to get?" Misty asks now looking at the menu.

"I don't know. I might get the fettuccine alfredo." I say shrugging. "What about you?"

"I'm getting a cheese burger!" She exclaims putting down her menu. I chuckle and grab her hand from across the table and she squeezes my hand.

"I guess I'll get that too!" I say and put my menu down and the waiter comes back with our with our drinks. Then gets our order and Misty and I talk until we get our food.

We eat our cheeseburgers and pay. After we pay we go back to the car. I drive us to a parking garage and park the car there. We get out and walk downtown looking at the shops. As we walk we hold hand with our fingers intertwined.

We get to a jazz band and I throw a twenty dollar bill into their hat they have for tips. I smile at them. Misty and I continue walking and Misty hums along with the band and dances until we can't hear them anymore. We make a big loop and get back to my car.

On the way back to the academy, we talk about anything and everything. When we get back we get out and stand in front of the door. The porch light is out but there's enough light coming from the street lamps.

"I had a lot of fun tonight." I say and wrap my arms around Misty's neck.

"Me too." The wild blonde says looking into my eyes and wraps her arms around my waist. She leans down and kisses me and I kiss back.

After a few seconds, the porch light comes on and we hear Madison yell from inside.

"Get a room, lovebirds!"

Misty and I laugh. We break apart and notice all the girls and Kyle watching through the windows. We wave at them while laughing and go inside.
