I sit here in a void of quiet,
Everything surrounding me.
I sit in the grass, flowers all around me.
The hazy sun, the trees swaying.
Not on sound to be heard, no birds in the sky.
No wind,
No waves in the lake.
Just nature all around me,
Comforting my lost soul.
I long to hear your voice,
To feel your sweet touch.
So soft: so gentle.
Everything around me,
Not making one sound.
I'm my head I hear you call my name.
I close my eyes,
And see you in front of me smiling.
I open my eyes to reality: to see you gone.
These days are hard without you,
You were everything.
My world
My soul
My heart
My universe
Me.
Lately I don't hear much without you,
You gave me life, you gave me love.
I still remember your touch.
Your love, your hands roamed my body,
My hands roamed yours.
Our lips searched each other's,
Our bodies touching.
My body bending into yours,
Your name as I moan.
It's all just a memory behind my broken eyes.
I sit here in the grass
In an empty void of silence,
Nothing is the same without you.
