Chapter 14 A Peaceful Hoilday Or So We Thought

~Four Months Later~

(Kiara)

OK let's be reminded that I'm only six people so I can't really tell you what's going on cause I don't know. My baby brother is two about to be three next month but today it's not about that. Today is about daddy cause it's father's day. I was sleeping when my mom woke me up.

Ciara-Kiara sweetheart wake up we need to make daddy's breakfast

I woke up to see my mom holding CJ on her hip.

Me-I'm up mommy

I got up and followed mommy downstairs. She put CJ in his high chair and started cooking. I helped and made the toast and then poured his orange juice. Daddy likes orange juice. When we got done making his breakfast, mommy gave CJ to me, then took the tray and we quietly went upstairs and snuck in the room.

Mom put the tray down and took CJ from me. I looked at her and she nodded, then I jumped on the bed and started yelling.

Me-Wake up daddy!!!!!!!!!!!

He groaned, then opened his eyes and looked at me. Mommy walked over to the bed and sat down with CJ in her lap. He sat up and smiled.

Me&Mom-Happy father's day!!!!!!!!

Roc-You guys are amazing thank you

Me-You're welcome daddy

I jumped on daddy and hugged him and kissed his cheek. Mommy got up and kissed him, then handed CJ to him. Daddy kissed CJ on the cheek and I crawled next to him and laid on him. Mommy walked back over to the bed with the tray, then sat it on daddy's lap.

Ciara-Happy father's day baby

Roc-Thank you

Me-Me mommy and CJ made it

Roc-And I thank all of you

Me-Mommy I forgot to ask you how is the baby?

She looked at me, then rubbed her little baby lump.

Ciara-The baby is fine sweetheart

Daddy gave mommy this looked and it didn't look happy but seeing as how I was only six I have no idea what's going on. Mommy looked down, then walked out. Daddy sighed.

Me-Daddy what's wrong?

Roc-I would tell you but you wouldn't understand

Me-Cause I'm only six right?

Roc-Yea baby

Me-Daddy are you and mommy gonna split up because she's pregnant?

Roc-No why would you ask that?

Me-Cause one day I heard you and mommy yelling at each other and you said that you were gonna leave cause mommy was having a baby that wasn't yours

Daddy looked down and sighed.

Me-Then you left mad and I went in mommy's room and she was crying so I hugged up to her and she kept saying "He doesn't love me."

I saw a tear fall out of his eye, so I reached up and wiped it.

Me-Don't cry daddy

Roc-Can you watch your brother?

Me-Sure daddy

Daddy handed me CJ, then moved his breakfast and got up. He walked out and closed the door. Me and CJ started eating daddy's toast.

(Roc)

I went downstairs to the kitchen and found Ciara drinking water and crying.

Me-Ciara?

Ciara-*looking back* Oh hey baby

She wiped her tears fast so I wouldn't know that she was crying but I do.

Ciara-How was your breakfast?

Me-I didn't eat it yet

Ciara-Well baby it's gonna get cold go back upstairs and eat

She tried to take me back upstairs but I grabbed her arm and stopped her.

Me-Ciara stop we need to talk

Ciara-Not today I mean today is your day with the kids

Me-Ciara

Ciara-Roc please OK I can't I've been under so much stress in the last three months I mean I'm surprised I didn't lose the baby. I mean you've yelled at me and looked at me in disgust and I thought you understood my situation but you don't so I've been thinking and I think we should spilt up again for a little bit

Me-No no baby no I'm not letting you leave me again Ok I love you and I'm sorry

Ciara-If you're so sorry then why? Why do you yell at me? I mean when you leave I cry and our daughter tries to comfort me and I feel like........

Me-I don't love you

She had tears running down her face as she nodded her head "yes."

I pulled her into a hug and she hugged me back.

Me-Im sorry baby and honestly the only reason I acted like that was because I was thinking about the time before and we weren't even together but I do love you with all my heart and I don't want you to forget that or think I don't

Ciara-Ok I won't. I love you

Me-I love you too

Ciara-Now get upstairs and eat and I'll clean up

Me-No baby come on

Ciara-What?

Me-You're gonna enjoy father's day with me

Ciara-What? No it's father's day not mother's and father's day

Me-Well for us today it is cause we haven't done nothing but stress out on mother's day so come on and help me eat this breakfast

We laughed and went upstairs to the room and when we got there we saw the kids eating our breakfast.

Kiara-Umm CJ started eating your eggs and some of the pancakes I just helped with the stuff he couldn't chew

I smiled and looked at Ciara who was smiling with me.

Me-You didn't feed my babies first?

Ciara-Well if I did that you would've been up

Me-I love you so much

Ciara-I love you too

Me-Now you little girl you are in trouble

Kiara-No daddy

I ran over to her and started tickling her. She was laughing so hard she started to cry.

Kiara-Daddy st-stop I can't breathe

I stopped tickling her and she was still laughing.

Kiara-Daddy you play to much

I sat down and put CJ in my lap, then Kiara got up and ran over to Ciara.

Kiara-Mommy come on you're apart of this family too

Ciara-No baby it's daddy's day

Me-Ciara what did I tell you downstairs? I told you that it's mommy and daddy's day now get yo fine pregnant ass in this bed

She smiled and took Kiara's hand and walked over to the bed. She climbed in bed and I kissed her.

This has honestly been one of the more peaceful days we've had in a long time.

HEY EVERYONE I DO STILL APOLOGIZE FOR TAKING SO LONG IT'S JUST BEFORE SCHOOL LET OUT I HAD FINALS, THEN I WAS GOING ON VACATIONS AND THIS MONTH IS MY BIRTHDAY MONTH I CAN'T WAIT 16 IN 12 MORE DAYS YAY BUT ANYWAY I'M TRYING TO WORK ON THIS STORY THE BEST I CAN SO DON'T GIVE UP ON ME.
