Chapter 2 Giving Up

Roc's POV

So it's been a week since Ciara said that she would move back to L.A. with me and the kids. I stayed, so I could go back with her. Today we're going back, so right now I'm driving over to house to get her. I walked over to her door and knocked.

She answered the door with booty shorts and a tight tank top, with CJ in her arms. I bit my lip as I looked at her.

Ciara-Hey umm I'm running a little late, but come in and hang with your babies

Me-Ok

She walked away I stared at her butt and bit my lip again thinking "Mmm that ass". She set CJ down in his jumper and called Kiara down.

30 seconds later I heard little foot steps come downstairs. When she came downstairs she looked at me and her face lit up.

Kiara-DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!

Me-Come here daddy's little princess

She ran into my arms and I picked her up, then hugged her like there was no tomorrow.

Kiara-Daddy we're coming home today

Me-I know I can't wait I miss you

Kiara-I miss you too

Me-Watch your brother while I talk to mommy ok

I put her down, then went upstairs to find Ciara still packing. I crept behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist. She jumped, then turned and looked at me. She shrugged me off and went back into her closet.

Ciara's POV

I didn't know what Roc thought he was doing, but all I know is that I'm not falling for it. That's my main goal. As I was grabbed all of my clothes he wrapped his hands around my waist again and started kissing my neck.

I didn't get into to it until he hit my sweet spot, then I was trying hard not to moan.

Roc-Come on baby let it out

I sighed, then I sat up. He sat up and came up behind me.

Roc-Ciara think about it we'll never just be friends and we'll never just be Kiara and CJ's parents. We'll always be more, we'll always be lovers. Please Ciara? I love you and miss you I'll never hurt you again

Me-See you said that last time and yet here we are

He sighed, then got up and got dressed.

Me-Where are you going?

Roc-I'm done

Me-What do you mean you're done?

Roc-I mean I don't want to do this. I don't want to spend half of my life trying to get you back, so I give up. You might as well stay here. I'm over you now

Me-You're over me? You came all the way here to tell me that?

Roc-No I came here to get you and the kids back home and to try and get the love of my life back possibly, but I thought "If she said no, then I'm done. I'm gonna get over her and move on.", so that's what I'm doing cause I'm not gonna spend the rest of my life chasing after you, trying to get you to come back to me. It's too much. I know I messed up and I know it's not your fault, but I can't do this anymore it kills me that you're not with me, but there's nothing I can do

I didn't say anything. I just looked at him and felt my heart sink and at that moment I officially gave up on love.

Me-Shows how much you really love me huh?

Roc-Ciara I love you with all my heart, but I'm not playing games, so if you don't want to be with me, then I'm moving on

I started to feel my heart break and tears uncontrollably come out of my eyes. I looked down and started to weep. I felt like I was dying slowly. He opened my door and was about to leave before I said something.

Me-If you move on, then I'm giving up on love completely

He chuckled a little and shook his head.

Roc-Why are you doing this to me? You know I want to be with you and my family, but you're making shit hard. It doesn't have to be this way at all, but this is the way you want it, so when you figure it out you let me know. In the mean time Imma go live life

And with that he walked out. I balled up on my bed and cried, then I got up, got showered and got dressed.

I finished with my stuff and packed the car and the kids, then we went off to the airport, and then the plane ride home.
