11. Fighting The Turks:
The battle between the Muslims and the Turks took place during the epoch of the companions of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) of which Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) was aware of. It happened in the beginning of Umayyad caliphate, when they defeated the Turks and took booty from them.
It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (R.A) that the Messenger of Allah said:
"The Hour will not begin until you fight the Turks, who have small eyes, red faces, and flat noses, as if their faces are hammered with shields. The Hour will not begin until you fight people whose shoes are made of hair..."
(Al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)From what we have understand regarding the people referred in the above hadith are the Mongolian Tatars who conquered the Muslim lands in the year 656 AH. They shed a great deal of carnage but eventually embraced Islam - the truest religion of the whole mankind.
12. A Great Deal of Mass Killing and Suicides.
Well. I can't say that this is not what we see around us. A lot of innocent people have been killed, people committing suicides over honor and love, murdering people for wealth and what not? Even nowadays we can see what the news headlines are about;
"Man commits suicide due to depression"
"10 women died, 27 injured due to bomblast"
"Father of four drowns his own children."
"School Massacre: 147 children along with a few teachers martyred in the terrorist attack."
This is indeed depressing. Isn't it absurd that people nowadays have no idea why they're killing other people? Neither the person who is killed doesn't know why he was killed. Different wars had been fought and is still continuing. The Hiroshima bomb in Nagasaki, Japan, killed nearly 140,000 people as a direct result of explosion. In WW1, 15 million people were killed. In Vietnam War, 3 million lives were lost. Innocent Muslims are being targeted and see the situation in Palestine and Gaza? It sums up. My heart aches for the people eating dry leaves for dinner and the children are starving and in need of the help. The Holy Prophet (S.A.W) said:
"By the One in Whose hands is my soul, this world will not come to an end until there comes a day when the killer will not know why he killed and the one who was killed will not know why he was killed..." It was asked, "How can that be?" He replied: "Al- Harj (killing), and the killer and the slain will be both in Hell..." (Sahih Muslim)
Killing of the mass began with the murder of Hazrat Uthmaan (R.A) and from there, people began to kill each other either mercilessly or with honor. Wars began to increase with no understandable reason, thousands of people fell victim to them - especially with destructive weapons that are used today. Let us say to all those who lost their lives in this world;
"Inna-lillahi-wa-inna-ilaihi-raajioon"
Translation: "To Him we belong and to Him we shall return.
13. Loss of Honesty from people's Hearts.
Putting the right man in the right position is the foundation if the Ummah's survival - for the well being of this land and it's people. Our Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) was the only honest and a noble man who guided the people to the straight path. If honesty is lost, everything will be at loss. The standards will be jumbled. Corruption of the hearts of the people is the reason for the loss of honesty. People hearts will blackened. It will result in the total chaos.
