Minor Signs:
Minor signs are further classified as:
1. Signs that occurred before the Day Of Judgement.
This refer to those signs that have already occurred. For example
a. The coming of the Holy Prophet(S.A.W)
b. The splitting of a moon into two.
c. The great fire in Madinah Munawwara.
e. The death of the Holy Prophet(S.A.W) etc.
2. Signs that are neither far nor too close to The Hour.
These refer to those signs that have have appeared yet haven't been terminated. Instead they are increasing day by day!
a. Adultery
b. Emergence of thirty impostors who claimed to be a prophet.
c. Women increasing and men decreasing.
d. Competition of tall buildings etc.
e. Dajjal-e-fitnah.
Major Signs:
These are the signs that will come after The Hour starts. It consists of the following major signs:
a. The Smoke.
b. The descent of Hazrat Eesa-ibn-e-Maryam (A.S).
c. The Beast.
d. The arrival of Dajjal.
e. The rising of The Sun from its place of setting.
f. Ya'ajooj and Ma'ajooj.
Three landslides will take place i.e:
g. A landslide in the East.
h. A landslide in the West.
i. A landslide in Saudi-Arabia.
j. The final sign of The Hour will be a fire which will transpire from Yemen which will drive the people to their place of gathering.
Hadith:
Hazrat Hudayfah(R.A) once reported that Hazrat Muhammad(S.A.W) once came to them and asked what they were talking about.
"What are you talking about?"
They said:
"We are talking about The Hour."
He replied:
"It will not begin until you people see ten signs..."
