Chapter 5

ROSE

They made me cry I didn't want to.

I wanted to be strong like Rage would.

They throw me out the front door to the alpha's house with promises to make Rage pay.

"I'd hate to be your sister."Brittney says to me.

"Maybe, once they catch her they'll put you all out of your misery."

I growl at her."They won't find Rage unless she gives herself up or let's them."

"Watch your tone runt."she sneers and I lose it.

It's clear from the start who will win though.Her.

RAGE

I get down there and there's people everywhere.

Their all circled around something. I smell blood.

I push through everyone to get to the center.

There's a fight going on. It's not even a fight though.Brittney is kicking some bloodied girl. I look closer.

Rose.

Oh,god.

"Stop!" I yell my full power going into my voice.

Everyone ceases what their doing Brittney's head snaps down and she begins to whimper.

I Pick Rose up and take her through the crowd and to an empty spot.

Her cuts are deep. She's going to die.

I can feel it.

My wolf can to.

"Hey sis."I say softly.

"Rage,you came back how's Eric?"

"How's Eric" I chuckle"he's fine. What about you."

"I'm great."she says smiling faintly.

"Hey sis"I say

"Yeah."

"I'm a black wolf. And I love you." I whisper.

"I knew it.My wolf told me you we're powerful and knew it was wise to follow you. And,I love you to Rage.And I love your name."she says smiling some more.

"I love yours to. It's so beautiful." I say truthfully.

"Hey,turns out our names we're perfect all along." She says weezing.

Then she gets this dazed look.

"Cloud nine."I whisper.

Then her face contorts in pain.

"Falling." I whisper tears running down my face.

Then she slacks.

"Love you,and dad does to I saw him he changed he's good now." I whisper quickly.

"Good tell him I love him,and I love you and Teresa and our cousins." Her voice is barley audible in the end but I hear her clearly.

She smiles one last time before she leaves me.

For good.

The last words her wolf utters though is different.

"A true leader." Her wolf says before leaving mine as well as me.

ALPHA ALEX

I'm three territories over when they tell me she's back.

I run as fast as my feet will go.On the way I catch the most delicious scent ever. I follow it toward my territory.

I arrive to see everyone watching something by my home and the pack house.

RAGE

I get up laying her down in the grass.

I look over to see Brittney is standing up now smiling triumphantly.

I shred my clothes and turn into my black wolf. It's on.

No more hiding.

She's dead.
