I blinked to make sure I wasn't hallucinating.

I take several steps backwards when I realize it's actually him.

"Corey?" I whisper.

"Aww someone missed me!" He says.There's something about him different.

He's.

Cold.

So cold.

And cocky.Not warm and loving.Just a player.That's all he is now.If I ever thought there was something good in him I know now.He's gone. A she'll of his former self.

TRYING TO HOLD ON TO EARTH my wolf whispers.

HE'S GONE MAD.THE ONLY REASON HE'S STILL ALIVE AND NOT WITH HIS MATE IS BECAUSE OF US.HE NEEDS TO LET GO.

"Dad" I yell.

My dad is by my side in no time. He starts growling.

"Corey you need to stop." I say to him slowly.

"What are you talking about." His voice is cold and hard.

I look from him to dad. He has no right being an alpha. I realize I've said it outloud.

"You know nothing about that kind of stuff."

"But I do and I know you have no right being one."

"I thought you were different.Don't worry though,when I get you home I'll reach you who's boss my little mate." He says with hatred.

He lunges for me.

Everything is on slow motion all of the sudden

My dad pushes him back.

They shift.

My dad pins him.

He sinks his teeth into his neck.

His body is lifeless.

"Dad.....dad,you,you just killed an alpha.You........you......are an alpha now." I stutter.
