I woke up to the light shining on my eyes. Groggily I sat up. I touched my lips remember the kiss last night. How soft it was. Then I remember that he slept with me, in my bed, but when I looked over he was no where to be seen. Jumping up I raced out of my room and flew down the stairs into the kitchen. Kristoff was flipping pancakes and Anna was face down in hers.

"Elsa, I'm so happy that you're up and walking." Kristoff said not turning around.

"I was walking last night." I stated. "Speaking of last night, has anyone seen Jack?"

"He's outside, said it was too hot in here or something." Anna mumbled from her pancake pillow. I said my thanks, grabbed my pancakes and walked outside looking for Jack. I found him sitting on window ledge of an empty room also eating pancakes.

"Hey stranger." I said, though a mouth full of pancakes. With a wave of my hand I conjured up a snow staircase and made my way to his little perch. He smiled and then stopped realizing he had pancake in between his teeth. "Why are you out here?" I wondered.

"It just got to hot inside." He replied nonchalantly. The ledge wasn't big enough to sit side by side so I settled for sitting across from him, letting our legs touch. I could see the ledge freezing over with both of us sitting there. Though it was probably all me and my inability to control my powers. Which reminded me, Jack was supposed to help me with that.

"So, I was thinking, since you'll be going back to school, we could work on controlling my powers after school and on weekends."

"Who said I was going back to school?"

"Oh well I just assumed that you were because your back now." He just sighed but nodded in agreement. "Well I guess we better get ready." I finished my pancakes and went back into the castle.

Anna and Kristoff were both getting ready in their rooms when I called out to them so I walked off to my room. Today was going to be a good day. I thought knowing that Jack was going to be by my side.

Jack's POV

I lept down from the ledge. I didn't have anything to change into. Walking into the kitchen, I placed my dishes in the dishwasher and walked out to the main gate where I decided to wait for them. I didn't like being in that castle with all of their shadows. After what Pitch did to all the Guardians I was reluctant to be close to the shadows.

Kristoff came out first in snow boots and a large snow coat. I laughed at the sight considering I didn't feel the cold. Not like others, I knew that it was cold, but I loved the cold weather. As he walked up I could tell that something was on his mind. One of the perks of being a Guardian was that I could sense the feelings of others. All Guardians can do this along with a few other tricks.

"What?" I asked.

"You were gone for a long time." He started, "And I saw a lot of things in that time. Things that would suggest that you coming back was a bad thing, but seeing Elsa with a smile on her face again means she's giving you a second chance, no questions asked. Therefore I won't question you either, but if you in anyway slip up or hurt her again, I will personally kill you. Elsa is a dear friend and she is Anna's best friend and sister and hurting her hurts Anna as well.

"I understand." Was all I was able to say before Anna came and jumped onto Kristoff's back with Elsa in tow.

We left the main gate and made our walk to the school. The whole time I watched Anna, Kristoff and Elsa talk about their classes.

"Hey your quite quiet." Elsa said leaving Anna and Kristoff to talk in front. "What's up?"

"I didn't know that you and Anna were so friendly."

"Oh." Was her only response. I guess I hit a touchy topic.

I wanted to ask again, but didn't have the time when Alex showed up. We were halfway to the school.

"Oh Alex, this is Jack. Jack, Alex." Anna said. I gave Alex a curt nod. I didn't like him, there was something off with him.

"So Jack, I see you came back. How long has it been, two weeks?" He wondered.

"Three." I replied coolly, letting the topic drop.

We walked in silence till we got to the school. Kristoff and Anna both had Math while Elsa, Alex and I had French. splitting ways we moved down the hallway slower than I hoped. We finally made it to our classroom right as the first bell was ringing. Alex and Elsa took their seats, but I guess three weeks were a long time because there were no more seats left. I stood at the front of the classroom not quite sure what to do. I didn't have any books either, which probably wasn't the best way to impress the teachers after only being here for a few days and leaving for three weeks.

"Is this a new student?" Mrs. Plume asked.

"Um no, this is Jack Frost, Mrs." Elsa chimed in. The shock that turned to anger on her face told me everything I needed to know. She was not happy to see me. I guess I should have expected that considering what I did, though I expected more from Elsa and less from a teacher.

"Well, Jack. I suggest you go down and see the principal, who will be happy to see that your back while I arrange a seat for you." I saluted her, which got a few snickers and left the classroom. I could feel the glare from Elsa follow me into the hallway.

The principals office was small and way to warm for my liking and the lecture that I was getting wasn't very warm either. "Jack Frost. Here for three days and just off and disappearing for three weeks is that right?" I just nodded and let him continue. "I see that you don't have any books with you, but I do see a stick." He sighed and sat down in his swivel chair with a plop. "Jack, here at Arendalle we strive for a good work ethic not just in the school but all of Arendalle. We hope that you can see that your future is determined by your high school grades and that you should be making a better effort to get the best education you can. I hope that this is the only time I see you in here Mr. Frost. and I hope that you take what I've said into consideration.

"Of course." I said, conveniently leaving out the not. I didn't need to get good grades or worry about farther education, as far as I could tell I wasn't going to get any older. And being a Guardian may not be a full time job, but it sure didn't call for farther education.

I left his office and walked back to Mrs. Plume's class. I made it halfway when I heard it. laughter. Turning around all I could see was the empty hall and the shadows of the lockers, but I could tell it wasn't Pitch. He sounded differently. I was probably hearing things. Continuing on my way I turned the corner letting my staff clink on the floor.

"Nice little trick you have." I turned around my staff spinning out, but no one was there. I couldn't distinguish the voice, but I knew that I didn't just imagine someone saying that. Wearily I turned back around slowly, staff still hanging out. "but I have a better trick." I heard the voice say, right before I felt a searing pain in my back. I felt myself fall to the ground, but I was fading to fast to stop myself. Before I hit the ground I was engulfed in black.

Sorry for not being on. I was really busy and then I was doing Nanowrimo. For all those people who don't know what Nanowrimo is, it's where you write 50 thousand words in the month of November. I didn't reach my count, but I'm still writing it. It's 2016 and my new years resolution is to write more, but I have no idea if I will be able to do that, this year, seeing as it is my junior year and this is the year that really counts for college. If any of my readers are younger than me, know that colleges look mostly at your junior and spring semester of your senior year grades the most so they are the most important. I'm also in IB and it's a very hard course, but I hope to get more writing done this year. Again I'm very sorry and for those who are still reading this I hope that this is a good chapter. I know that it's not really that put together so I am sorry about that as well, this is my first Fanfiction so please bear with me.

P/s I have started a How To Train Your Dragon fanfiction. Which little known fact about me, I love HTTYD more than anything else. So keep your eyes out for that, and please follow, comment, and vote. Thank you all!!
