The usual right eye trickle was now full on flood like the one they had in Tulsa and Muskogee a few weeks back. I didn't even know where I was going. Lucky did though, she's smart like that, that's why I chose her.

Another short story:( I was 4 when my parents died and I was supposed to live with my aunt and uncle but they divorced and the day of the trial he took me to a horse breeder. This breeder had 3 colts and 2 filles. I wanted a girl I knew that so it was either this solid black one or the black and white one. I liked them both so I watch them. Then the black and white one disappeared and I couldn't find it. I sat down on the ground watching the other when the black and white one came up behind me and started eating my hair. We were instantly bonded. When I was older my uncle told me that the mamma of the black and white one was one of the horses my dad saved the day of the fire. That's where I got the name lucky.) end of story.

By the time I looked up I saw where she brought me. Bo was washing Blaze. When he saw Lucky and I he stopped in his tracks and blazes face was jerked up from eating the grass.

"What are you doing here it's not time yet?" Bo asked looking curious. I managed To spit out two words before losing my grip and holding on to him. "5 years." I held him so tight now. The more I thought about it the more I held. He held my head up and looked me in the eyes. A thousands questions swimming in his eyes.

"What do you mean?"

"She's  taking me away for 5 years Bo. Not a summer not a year 5." I fell back into his chest and just stayed there when I heard his mom Becky come out and start asking questions.

"Oh hey Amber what are you doing over her so soon we were just about to bring Bo over to say goodbye... Darling are you okay?" Becky is the motherly figure in my life ever since I met Bo.

"She's leaving for 5 years mom not one 5." Bo says assuring his mother. With all the commotion I hear a truck coming down the drive I turn and see a familiar blue pick up truck and hear the shut of a door. My uncle pulled up when Steve came out to see what was going on. That's Bo's dad.

"Oh what do we owe the pleasure  of you Mr. Shire?" Steve asks my uncle.

"Oh you've known me long enough to call me Frank." My uncle chuckles out.

"Sorry Frank, so what can I do you for?"

"I'm her for Amber." My uncle says looking at me. Bo must have seen it because he grip became tighter like he wouldn't let him take me. Steve looked in our direction. I could see something in his eyes like he knew what was happening which he did but he looked like it was secret held between him and my uncle.

"Yah why don't you let me take her over there I'll bring Bo as well." Steve finally said.

"Okay is that okay with you Amber?" My uncle asked me. I nodded if I talked it probably would of been high pitched and choppy. We got into his dad's black ford and headed towards my house.
