When the sheriff finally left I went upstairs to change no point chasing after the car. I put on my light blue jeans and red and brown plaid. I brushed out my hair which straighten automatically and went back down stairs. Breakfast was made by Bo. Hot cakes and bacon my absolute favorite. I sat on one of the stools by the island and started eating.

"You looked like you were going rip his throat out sis." Jackson said.

"She was." Bo informed him.

"I was not scare him a little maybe but rip his throat nah." I pleaded my side. The thought of the man frustrated me. "What was talking about with Chief anyway?"

"Chiefs been eating Daves pet gators food." My uncle answered.

"Gator? Like real gator? What does he feed it?"

"He feeds it dog food." Bo answers.

"So crazy Dave feeds his pet gator dog food?"

"Yep." Jackson pipes in.

"That's amazing."

"It is?" My uncle asks.

"Yeah next time he threatens to turn Chief in to a rug I'll just happen to mention I need some new gator skin boots." Everyone laughs at my snarky comment. After breakfast I go to the stables to go for another ride. I get Luckys tack and saddle her up and head up the hill. We make our way to the pond this time and I jump off and let her play awhile. I start thinking about Bo and this new closer close call. He really was about to kiss me wasn't he? I don't know maybe not. All of a sudden another memory floods in.

Bo and I are at a fall dance I'm maybe 10 and he's 12. He's dressed in black suit for the first time and I'm wearing little yellow dress that wraps around my neck and poofs out above the knees. We both are dancing when he pulls me away from the dance floor. (which was actually a barn) We go upstairs and he brings me to this little tack room.

"Bo what are we doing here?" I ask

"I have something I need to tell you."

"Okay."

"We'll ever since we met at the pond and Blaze tried to hurt you I learned that you were my friend and then when I taught you how to ride Lucky I knew we were best friends. Now here in this barn I know that we are so much more.

My memory is interrupted by the splashes of my horse. I jump in and splash her back. Then we get out and head back home. As I'm put lucky up I remember that memory. So beautiful so nice. I take a breath and breathe in the air. What is that smell oh my gosh that's us. I ran to the tack room and grab my washing clothes. A solid white lose soft tee and my holy jean shorts okay they are booty shorts. And my solid black two piece bathing suit. I grab a halter and walk Lucky down to the barn. I clip her to the washing post. And grab the Mane and Tail shampoo and conditioner plus the Dawn Gone It body wash. I get a towel and hang it beside me on the rail. The next thing I know I hear horseshoes hitting the barn floor. I look over and there's Bo shirtless and covered in mud.
