Coming home

Chapter 24

I flip to the first page and read.

Today I learned how to break my horse and Bo kissed me.

I flipped some more.

Today is the day Bo and I had our first dance together and Bo told me he loved me.

I turned to the last page and back till I saw something.

So now I'm leaving tomorrow and me and Bo went to my house and we wrote this journal that's why there is some spots that may sound like they didn't happen probably because they didn't. Anyway I made Bo pinky promise that when you come back you will want to remember every last second that you spent on this dumb old ranch.
So now here is my promise to you Miss Daisy. I will always love you and I promise to help you remember everything we did together and every time I made you laugh and cry. I promise to show you everyday why you pushed me in the first place. I love you Miss Daisy.

My eyes began to fill with tears I looked around for my clothes thankfully I had some extra pants here. Put them on as fast as I could and stormed out the door. I ran to the barn to get Lucky. It was still raining pretty hard. My once dried hair was now soaking wet. I heard Bo call out to me but I kept walking. I pulled her out of the stall and jumped on as fast as I could. I felt something pull my arm. I jumped back off. All this anger I felt was now about to explode.

"You lied Bo. You broke your promise. You had one big promise and you broke it. How could you?" He looked at me like I was nuts but I didn't care.

"What are you talking ab-" No its my turn to talk. I threw the journal at him.

"Shut up. You made me one promise and instead of keeping it you lied and said we never had a thing."

"I'm sorry I just wanted to start over. You would of thought I was crazy forcing you to read this." He said waving the book around.

"No Bo you may have wanted a new start but I had to go through life having a stupid memory loss thing and you played me. You took advantage of me." I turned back to my horse and got on and he jumped in front trying to explain.

"I didn't take advantage of you. I would never do that. Come on Daisy we have known each other for like 15 years now. You know I would never hurt you."

Lucky must have known how I felt because she reered up and Bo moved. We ran out the barn and just started going. My eyes were full of water and pain. How could he do that to me?How could he lie like that to my face? He said he loves me then why do I hate him? I run up the hill and see my brother in the house talking to Brandy. I can't believe he did this. I wasn't paying attention when a snake slithered out and spooked Lucky. I fell off and she ran to her stall for safety. I didn't care that was I was covered in mud without any shoes and only wearing a t-shirt and jeans with my hair drenched. I just pulled my knees to my chest and cried my eyes and heart out. He lied he really broke my promise and my heart.
