Daniel's POV: I headed over to Nathan's house after school. I texted Vanessa the address and hopefully she'll come. I was excited to hang out with her.

"Hey daniel." Caitlin said a I walked into Nathan's house. "Hey guys." I said to all of them. "Daniel we got this sick new video game man." John said while throwing me an Xbox controller. "Uh okay." I said while chuckling. "Is everyone here already? I want to know what kind of pizza we all want." Caitlin asked. "Uhhh Landis isn't." Kiana said. "Vanessa." I said. "You invited her?" Kiana asked. "Yeah I told her to come chill with us." I said. "That's cool. I'm glad she's going to be apart of our squad." Kiana said. "Squad?" I asked. "Yeah we've all been a pact since like kindergarten." Nathan said. "True." Caitlin said. "Well I guess so." I said. There was knocking at the door and I quickly opened it. I saw Vanessa standing there. She was so beautiful holy Christ. "H-hey Vanessa." I stuttered. "Hey daniel." She said while giggling. "Uh come in." I said. She followed after me into the living room with the others. "Vanessa!!" Caitlin and Kiana exclaimed. "Heyyy guys." Vanessa said while smiling and waving. "Wassup man." John said. "Are you guys playing left for dead?" Vanessa asked. "Yeah how did you know?" Nathan asked. "I've been wanting this game for ages." She replied. Wow, she was a gamer too. This girl was perfect.
We all sat down to play while Kiana and Caitlin ordered the pizza.
"Has anyone talked to Landis?" Nathan asked. "He texted me once earlier, all he said was that he was going to sleep." John said. "He's been sleeping for 2 days." Nathan said while laughing. "Who's Landis?" Vanessa asked while putting the Xbox controller down. "Our other friend. He doesn't chill with us as much." John said. "Yeah maybe because he's always in trouble." Caitlin said. "He's not always in trouble Caitlin. He just does bad things sometimes." Nathan said. I liked Landis a lot, I even loved him like a brother. We've been friends forever and it's not that I think he's a bad guy but Vanessa is a really sweet girl and I don't want him to influence her in any way. Landis is strange and he's known for getting any girl he wants. But I'm probably over thinking myself. What's the worst that could happen?
