Daniel's POV: I was walking down the hall looking for Van. She hadn't been acting the same lately. When we would text, she would give me short replies or respond hours later. She would always seem upset but never told me why. And this bullshit this girl just told me makes me even more confused than I already was about Van.

"Hey have you seen Van?" I asked John. "Uh yeah man she was walking with Landis that way." John said while taking a book out of his locker. "With Landis? Why?" I asked. "I don't know man. I hope you find her though." John said. "Alright thanks dude. Later." I said. "Later." John said while closing his locker and walking off.

I kept walking in the halls until I saw Van and Landis.
"Van!" I yelled. She turned around and so did Landis. "Uh daniel right now is not really a good time." She said. "No Van. Apparently never is a good time. We need to fucking talk and I'm tired of you ignoring me all the time." I said. "Daniel chill dude." Landis said. "Fuck off Landis." I said. "Daniel what the hell." Van said. "All weekend you have been ignoring me and you've been upset for god knows what reason. You've been distancing yourself from me but yet you can hang out with Landis? What fucking gives?" I said. "Daniel I had a rough weekend. I haven't been hanging out with Landis we just saw each other right now. Calm down." Van said. "What's going on guys?" Caitlin asked while walking over to us. "Did you text Landis from my phone?" Van asked caitlin. "Oh so you can text Landis back but not me?" I asked. "Daniel shut up dude." Landis said. "Van it was the only way-"
"Only way for for what? You tried to keep me away from landis or something?" Van asked. "He's a bad influence on you Van." Caitlin said. At this point everyone was staring. "We're just friends Caitlin. He hasn't done anything." Van said. "That's why you are always talking to him and not me?" I asked again. "You never smoked before you met landis." Caitlin said. That fucking crushed me. What I was afraid of happening, happened. I knew Landis would influence her and he did. Van never smoked. What the hell. "I chose to do that on my own caitlin so fuck you. Landis didn't do anything." Van said. "Dudes lets chill." John said while walking up. "You know what actually John, your girlfriend needs to chill." Landis said. "Fuck you Landis." Caitlin said. Kiana and Nathan both walked over to all of us. "Guys can you all stop." Kiana said. "You were there too and you saw her! You didn't fucking stop her. I thought you guys were my friends." Van said. "I thought you were my girlfriend." Daniel said. "What is she talking about Kiana?" Nathan asked.

"ENOUGH! All seven of you, detention. Now." Our principle said.
