Vanessa's POV: I was straightening my hair for Kiana's party tonight. I did my makeup and got dressed. I texted Daniel and he quickly texted back.
D: Are you ready?
V: Almost
He was so cute. I really did like him a lot and I was excited to see him tonight.
I finally arrived at Kiana's house. It was so packed probably with people she didn't even know. I walked inside and found the others. "Vanessa!!!" Caitlin exclaimed. I hugged her and then hugged Kiana. "Happy birthday! Again." I said to kiana while giving her the present I bought her. "Aw thank you Vanessa." She said. "Hey um where's Daniel at?" I asked while looking around the room. "He's getting drinks with Nathan. They'll be right back." Caitlin said as she sat down on the couch next to John. I sat down on the opposite side and patiently waited for daniel.Daniel's POV: It had taken Nathan and I almost 2 hours to get drinks from the gas station. We quickly hurried back to Kiana's house. It was quiet and almost everyone was gone. We walked inside and I saw Vanessa sleeping on the couch. Caitlin, Kiana and John were in the kitchen along with our friend Quentin and Laken.
"Hey Vanessa." I said while tapping her. She slowly opened her eyes and looked around. "Hey Daniel." She said in her sleepy voice. "Sorry it took us so long." I said. "It's fine. I'm just glad you're here." She said while slightly smiling. God she was so adorable. She was so sweet, and innocent and down to earth. I really liked her a lot and I think now is the right time to ask her out.
"Hey umm Vanessa." I hesitantly said. "Yeah?" She asked. "Listen um we've been like friends and stuff for a while and I really like you and stuff..." I kept on rambling not getting to the point.
"I like you too Daniel." She said while cutting me off. "You do?!?" I asked. "Yes!!! I have since like school started." She said while chuckling. "Do you wanna like go out or something..." I asked. "Like date you?" She asked. "Yeah sorta kinda yes." I said. "Yes!!" She said while hugging me. I signed with relief and hugged her back. She was mine finally.
