"You can't just do that!" He laughed, still hiding behind the magazine.
"Well then, just...act casual. Maybe he won't notice," I said, and he raised his eyebrows.
"Okay yeah, he probably will. Whatever. Just ignore him," I said after the look he gave me.
I sat back up and put my jacket back on right while Blake put the magazine down. I noticed a very pretty blue-eyed girl with black hair walk in and sit down at his table. Ugh, how much of a player can he be? That's so gross.
I rolled my eyes.
Blake smirked.
"You jelly?" He asked, wiggling his eyebrows at me.
"Are you kidding me? No, never. It's just gross that he comes with a new girl every-" I quickly stopped, realizing I had just spilt my secret.
Darn it.
Blake wasn't supposed to know I knew Aiden. Well, partially knew him.
"Wait, you know him?" He asked, his tone suddenly interested.
"Uh, yeah. Well, no. Ugh. See, the thing is, I come here practically almost everyday. And well, he does too. But obviously, he's never acknowledged me because everytime he comes, he's with a girl. So basically, I find that pretty gross. He's probably a player," I explained, and Blake smirked again.
"Well now I definitely know why you hate him. You're more jealous than I thought," he stated, and my eyes widened.
"Am not!" I protested, and he started laughing.
"Kidding. I just like to see your reactions," he started, and I faked a laugh before giving him a dirty look.
"So what are you gonna do?" He asked, and I looked at him confused.
"What are you talking abo-"
"Hey! Would you look at that?" I heard Aiden say, and I covered my face.
Ughhhhhh. Noooo.
I finally turned around and faked a smile.
"Hey, dude," Blake said, stepping into the conversation first.
"Hey, man," Aiden replied and then turned to look at me. "And hello there, cupcake," he greeted me, and I decided this was officially the last straw.
"Isn't that rude?" I said bluntly, and he looked confused.
Gosh, he is so clueless.
"Calling me that in front of your...girlfriend..?" I clarified, and the girl began to laugh.
"What? No, he's-" She began, but Aiden cut her off.
"This is Lissy. Sorry I didn't introduce her before," he apologized, but the smug look on his face remained.
She gave him a weird look and he just ignored her.
What a freaking gentleman. First he cuts her off and then doesn't even want to admit the fact that they're a thing?
At least pretend you're interested, dude.
