I lightly moved around my bed and groaned as I heard my annoying alarm clock go off. I seriously hated the ringtone I'd picked but I knew it was the only thing that would truly make me get out of bed. I would always place it on the other side of my room so that I'd have to get up because if I didn't, I knew I'd probably end up falling back asleep. It was one of the few things I was truly disciplined about. Not that I'm not disciplined but I mean, this whole alarm thing was like one of the things I made myself do as much as I hated it.
Finally, I made my way out of bed and went to turn it off. I immediately grabbed my phone and slightly frowned as I stared at the screen. There was five text messages from an unknown number.
Morning, cupcake. Didn't actually think you'd get out of this one, did you?
And then four pictures followed after that message.
They were four pictures of me riding the pony at the fair.
Aiden.
But how'd he get my number?
No, it can't be.
I remembered Blake had my number and probably gave it to Aiden after I entered my apartment last night, since it was Blake who had put Blue to bed. He left after I'd entered and I'm almost sure when he went to his car Aiden asked him for it.
He will pay for this.
I looked at the pictures and groaned for the second time this morning.
All four pictures were of me laughing and, honestly, I looked completely gross. My mouth was wide open, clearly meaning I had been laughing when the picture was taken, and I was squinting my eyes while my hand was up in the air holding my invisible cowgirl lasso.
Unbelievable. Aiden has these pictures on his phone. That is literally the worst thing ever. Definite blackmail.
Throwing my phone back on my bed, I decided to start getting ready. I didn't bother replying. I had no time to waste.
I took a pretty quick shower, and then proceeded to dry my hair. After that, I decided to apply some light makeup since I was too lazy to get all fixed up and I was still pretty tired from getting home so late. Mascara, some bottom liner on my waterline, concealer and some bronzer looked just fine to me so I left it at that. I put on a plain white t-shirt, some ripped skinny jeans, and my pair of white converse. I accessorized my shirt with a choker, and two other necklaces. One with a little star charm and the other with a little sun. I looked in the mirror and nodded in satisfaction. Cute but casual.
When I was done, I walked into the kitchen and noticed it was still 6:30am. I had enough time to make breakfast for Blue and I.
I made us some egg, ham and cheese muffins and banana shakes. As I smiled at the amount of productivity I was having today so far, I had the feeling today was going to be good.
I called Blue and told her breakfast was ready.
"Dang girl, you're on a roll today." She said, taking a seat at our small dining room table. "This smells so good." She added, breathing in and then exhaling pleasurably.
"Thank you ma'am." I said, and took a bite out of my muffin.
Oh this is good.
