Sad Asriel x Reader

Woah... I actually titled the part what it was gonna be... Woahhhhhhhhhh. Also bread makes you fat... BREAD MAKES YOU FAT?!

This was requested by @VirgoTheNeko. Here you art! *Magical hand motions.* Also female reader. Cause meow. That's why. Also third person... Cause I can't write in second-person well...

(Y/N) made her way over to the garden, where she heard the muffled sound of crying. She poked her head through the door leading to the gardens, and was met with a familiar sight.

In the middle of some buttercups, was a bundle of white fur. This bundle was shaking and was most likely the source of the muffled crying.

(Y/N) walked over to the bundle of fur and reached out a hand to rub its back, speaking softly. "Asriel? Are you okay?"

The bundle or fur, or Asriel, jumped at the sound of her voice, before quickly wiping away his tears. "(Y-Y/N). Hi."

(Y/N) shakes her head and sighs. "Asriel, I thought you said that you'd come to me whenever you were having a problem. I told you I would help you. Remember?"

Ariel hangs his head in shame. "S-Sorry. I just..."

She cuts him off, "I want to know what's bothering you, okay? I can help you."

Ariel looks back up at her, as more tears flow out of his eyes. "But you can't help me anymore, can you?" He starts to fade away. "I mean, you killed me."

(Y/N) wake up with a start and looks around the room. Her room, check, her bed, check, Asriel beside her... She doesn't see him and panics, pulling a robe around her, and running out of the room, ending up bumping straight into his chest.

She looks up to see that Asriel had red eyes and looked as if he was crying. She grabbed his paw and pulled him to the bed, starting to rub his back, cooing softly to him. "What's wrong, hun?"

"I-I had a nightmare..." he mutters.

(Y/N) continues to rub his back. "Would you like to tell me about it?"

"I- You... You were dying. You said I killed you." He started to bawl uncontrollably.

(Y/N) brings her husbands face to her chest, petting his head affectionately. "I'm here. You didn't kill me. It's okay. It's okay. I'm okay."

After a moment, Asriel nods and pulls away from his wife, laying back down on the bed. He opens his arms to her, and says, "Come here."

(Y/N) nods, and lets her husband pull her close, as the two fall back into a peaceful slumber.
