Hey! So umm... I reread that last chapter, and I know it seems a little rushed and it was but let me explain why!!!!! I literally could not write another chapter on this story. I don't know why, maybe it's cause I had already written this, but I was just burned out and wanted to get it over with. That and I was running out of time. I couldn't drag the story out much longer or I'd run across an Asuna chapter and I wouldn't be able to write much to further the story... And so, I ended it the best I could at the time. However, it left a few plot holes... ex: what happened with the twins... Which I'll be answering in this A/N in a little bit. I figured that this would be the easiest and most effective way to answer you guy's questions. So if you have one, leave a comment and I'll respond in an A/N chapter ASAP. I promise, cause I hate that I left you guys with questions in the end. Anyways, here's what happened to the twins:
While they "died" in real life, they were saved in the virtual realm. Throughout the Fairy Dance Arc they stay with Asuna in her bird cage... She takes care of them there until they all three are saved by Kirito.
Since they brought back Aincrad, the twins live in the little house that Asuna and Kirito own. While their parents are away in the real world Yui takes care of them and raises them. Hikaru grows up to become a swordsman who fights with a two handed sword , while Kokoro starts out learning how to fight with daggers/knives from Silica but then is pushed towards learning archery from Sinon. She fights well with both but is usually seen with her bow unless she's not around her family or family friends -- then she only carries her daggers and tries to act like a normal human.
Hikaru grows up to be very protective over his sister since if they do die in the game they have no way of coming back, however despite the risk Kokoro turns out to be extremely carefree and tends to get herself into trouble.
Throughout their lives Kirito has improved technology so they can go around and see the world, Yui and Kokoro jump at the opportunity but Hikaru always refuses claiming someone has to look after Kokoro's still body while she's away.
