Chapter 15

Winter's POV
I started climbing up, and everything started out good. Then, Kylie looked back at us a look in her eyes that was a look that apologetic and kind of evil.

She climbed even faster than us and left us behind. I could not believe her. She just left her team.

Charlie started to whimper. "I can't do it. I'm sorry."

I was already frustrated at this point, so when he said this I snapped.

"Dang it, Charlie! Don't give up so easily! You can do this. We can do this! So, don't give up on me! Please, don't throw your life away because you don't think you can do this because I know you can! So, please do this for me!" I shouted toward his direction.

"Yeah, Charlie. We are halfway up. You can do this." Joshua said.

"Ok." Charlie said, softly.

I continued to climb, but I realized that there was a slippery substance on the pipes I was climbing on. I started to slip. I have to options keep climbing and hope for the best or jump to another pipe.

Then, I heard a low rumbling coming from the pipe I was holding onto.

Whelp, I guess I have to go with option number two. I swung myself over to the closet pipe, which was a ten centimeters away.

I grabbed the pipe, luckily, without falling.

We made it without anymore troubles. Joshua and I helped Charlie into the room. Kylie stood there with a smug look on her face.

"What took you guys so long?" She said, I don't know if she was joking. I was so mad.

"What the hell! Kylie, you left your team without a thought, and that was your response. Why'd you leave?" I said, angrily.

"Unless you haven't noticed, this is a game of survival. I didn't know if you guys would of made it, but I knew I would. Besides, little mouse over there probably won't make it another round. So, if you keep on trying to save him, you'll just die." Kylie said.

I looked over at Charlie. He was lying down with Joshua talking to him.

I looked at Kylie with a look of pure rage. She was smirking as if she knew she struck a nerve.

I walked over to her, and I slapped her. She looked at me, shocked.

"Shut up. You don't know anything. We all going to live through this. Even, Charlie. So, don't say that or do that ever again. Cause the next time you do that again, I will make you regret it." I stated.

She nodded, a bit scared.

I looked over at Charlie and Joshua. Charlie was asleep, but Joshua was looking at me wide eyed.

I walked over to him. "How is he?" I asked.

"He's gonna be ok. What about you?" He responded.

"What do you mean?" I said, confused.

"Are going to be ok?" He asked.

I nodded. "Thank you. I'm gonna go and rest."

I then kissed his cheek. I don't know what possessed me to do that.

I walked away, and lied down. I hope whatever happened tomorrow would be better.

A/N. Sorry that was a long chapter, but I didn't post in a long time. So, it was worth it. Kylie is really evil right now. And Winter just smacked her and kissed Joshua's cheek. Anyway, bai~.
