I miss my brother, I know you all do to,

But there is only one thing we can do,

Remember his life, remember his mind,

Remember his smell, Remember the times,

Remember his laugh, Remember every limb,

Remember his smile, Remember him,

I know you all remember Nelson's smile,

That simple smile that drove them girls wild,

Well at least that's what he said,

Personally I thought it was all in his head.

Yea yea, his gangsta attitude and unbeatable swagger,

His silent chuckles, and his laugh out loud laughter,

Remember him riding round town and blowing his horn,

Remember the jokes, fun, the cologne worn.

I remember his no nonsense attitude,

Quick to kick you out of his house if he wasn't in the mood.

And man he could tell a good joke to,

Half of them inappropriate, the other half rude,

My brother was crazy as heck,

If you messed with his family, he would break your neck,

He played no games, he was the real deal,

And we all know that he didn't miss a meal,

Every time he came over the first thing he'd say,

"What's up lil big sis what you cook today!"

Remember Nelson playing ball at the court,

Remember he lived his life even if it was short,

He smiled, his grin, and laughed,

He graduated, he worked, the times he had,

He played, was serious, loved his life,

He was sad, angry, happy, his life was hype,

He loved, felt pain, he was himself,

He lived his life the way he felt,

So let his life flow through your head,

He is still with us he's not dead.

And remember your always in his sight,

Remember to celebrate his life.
