Prolouge

"Riker wait," I gasped as I stopped him from reaching his hotel, "what is it? I have to look all fancy for you tonight which takes time you know." he winked. "You forgot this." I said handing him his top before giving him a quick kiss and going in the direction of my hotel, " what would I do without you? See you in an hour." he shouted as he went inside.
  "Does this look okay?" I asked Rebecca. For our final night together I wore a black bodycon type dress with lace down each side, I lightly curled my hair and wore some black heals to go with me outfit. I had a black and purple clutch and the necklace he'd bought me about a week ago.
"You look stunning chick, now go have an amazing night!" she said as she gave me a hug.
When I got outside my hotel he was there and I kinda think his jaw dropped a bit, but after complementing me and kissing me on the cheek we started walking along to what seemed to be the beach.
"Look can't you just give me a clue as to where we're going?" I pleaded pouting my lip slightly, "no! Okay it's a surprise" he replied laughing as he covered my eyes.
After walking for about a minute with my eyes covered, and even though they were, I could still see some light through his fingers. "Okay take a look!" he said almost scared to see my reaction.
As I opened my eyes I saw a boat, not too big but not tiny, it was covered with tiny fairy lights, that's when I remembered I mentioned to him the first day we met that I wanted to go here I just never got the chance.
"Oh wow... Thank you so much!" I said hugging him tight.
"So you like it?" He asked nervous
"Like it? I love it and I love you, this truly has been the best summer and I can't thank you enough." I said as we entered the boat.
The meal and the music and just the atmosphere that night was perfect I wish I could've just stayed in that moment forever. But then we both knew what was coming.
"Riker?" I asked already feeling a knot in my stomach.
"Yes Jessica?" He said taking my hand as we strolled along the beach.
"What's gonna happen after tomorrow? I mean I'll go back to England and you'll go back home and we will hardly talk I mean you've got the band and we have our lives to get back to and let alone..." He stopped and kissed me, "well that was a nice way of telling me to shut up." i giggled tearing up. "It will be okay, I mean we will make it work you know we will, I love you okay?" Our foreheads touching our eyes locked on each other's. "I love you more." I whispered hugging his waist "I love you most." he said as he kissed me on the forehead.
