{{I've decided that after 20 or 25 chapters of imagines, I'll mark this book as completed and start a volume.}}

 You and Loki had been married for a few years now, and nine months ago the two of you had decided it was time to start a family.   So, after many hours of labor you gave birth to a beautiful pair of twin boys.  One was named Xander, at Loki's request, and the other Apollo by your request.  Both boys had raven black hair but one had Loki's deep green eyes while the other had your [ y/e/c ].

The smile never faltered from your lips as you held the two in your arms.  They slept peacefully, and you were glad for that as you were exhausted, even though you gave birth a few days ago and where now resting in your own bed.  The pregnancy had been very painful and the delivery even more so.  However, in the end, looking at their calm pale faces in this moment, it was all worth it.  You and your new family lived in a cottage in a forest of asgard.  Peaceful, but not too far away from the palace. At the moment, Loki was no where to be seen but by smelling the delicious aroma wafting up from the kitchen, you assumed he was cooking something.

after a few moments, you heard footfalls coming toward the room and you recognized them as Loki's.  He slowly pushed the door open and crept in, careful not to wake the boys.  a gentle smile curled on his lips as he walked over and pressed a soft kiss on your cheek.

"My love I see you have not put our sons into their crib..you will tire yourself too much..let me take them..." he said in a concerned fashion, pilling his lips away from your cheek.  Apollo stirred in his sleep, but settled after a few seconds.  Your eyes met Loki's green ones and you saw the worry.

"Alright you whispered after a few moments."

Gently Loki took the two babies from your arms and brought them to their cribs.  They did't make a peep.  You slowly stood and moved to the closet grabbing a sweater.  You pulled it on and looked to Loki, who was looking your sons lovingly over the crib.  You couldn't help but smile a little brighter.  After a few moments of silence he straightened up and moved over to you. He scooped you up bridal style and planted a kiss on your lips.

"C'mon, I made some food for you.  Your favorite dishes." He hummed in his velvet voice as he fluidly walked down the stairs and to the kitchen.  He set you in a chair in front of a plate of food, then as you got comfortable in a chair, he at down in one as well.  The two of you began to eat in a silence that wasn't at all awkward. It was that nice kind of silence.

However, it was soon interrupted by the cries of your children.  You were on your feet in an instant, as was Loki.  without warning both cries stopped and you shot Loki a fearful glare.  His eyes widened as well and he briskly darted upstairs. You rapidly followed.  You nearly crashed into his firm back, as he halted in the door way.  You could feel the anger rolling off him in waves and that had you rather terrified.

"Where are our children?" He growled and your lips formed into a small 'o' shaped, a gasp escaping past them. You slid past him and looked at the empty crib.  Then your eyes drifted to the open window.  Oh no. Someone had taken your precious babies!  Loki moved swiftly to the window, his green eyes fired up with anger.  You weren't angry, rather terrified that some one had hurt your babies. He leaned out the window and looked around.  He then whipped around and faced you.  You hadn't noticed but tears had started to leak from your eyes. In a smooth motion, he went to you and pulled you into a protective hug.

He ran his fingers through your hand as soothingly as his angry self could allow.  "Shh my love.." He cooed but you could detect the rage behind his voice.   You let yourself melt into his embrace.  "We'll find whoever took our children and they will pay.  Agonizingly and slowly..." He hissed.  All you could do was nod. He pulled back and pressed a kiss to your lips before pulling away and wiping your tears off your cheeks with his cool slender thumbs.
