Chapter 7

"He did what?! " Lucy shouted, and some members of the guild turned to look at us.

"Sshh keep it down!" I looked around, in case anyone was still looking. "He..kissed me."

"That idiot...what does he think he's doing?" She muttered, possibly ignoring my presence. I blushed in the thought that I didn't resist.

"It was a one-time thing. I won't let him do it again."

"Erza, you should be more cautious!", she scolded me. "You don't have all your memories and people like Jellal may take advantage of it."

"Since you mentioned the memories..I slowly recall things, but they're nothing but some blurry moments."

"What did you remember?"

"I remember being named Scarlet, and a moment from the accident, where Jellal was there." Lucy's eyes widened and she had the exact face Jellal had when I told him.

"But he refused to tell me anything...Lucy, what was Jellal doing there? What happened that day?  What type of person is he?" I looked deep inside her eyes, trying to get answers.

"I...I can't tell you things about the accident, Erza. I've been ordered not to." Her eyes seemed to water, before she continued. "They told us that you should remember everything that happened that day yourself." I lowered my head. Was it really that big of a deal?

"But I guess I can tell you a few things about Jellal himself. Well uh, Jellal was both an ally and an enemy of Fairy Tail in the beggining, by being Jellal, Siegrain and Mystogan at the same time. Later on, we found out Siegrain was a fake and Mystogan was Edolas' Jellal. Things were pretty messed up, but as time passed, Jellal, Ultear and Meldy created their own guild, Crime Sorciere, which they still have. You were very close with Jellal as children, and watching him go through everything he went through hurt you a lot." She had a worried expression on her face, as if she didn't want to recall it herself.

"So Jellal was an enemy at first?" Lucy nodded in response, and I remained skeptical for a while, before I sighed loudly.

"Everything is so messed up..." I muttered, holding my head in my hands. Lucy patted my shoulder, and gave me a wide, bright smile in efforts to cheer me up.

"Ah, here you are."

I turned around and looked at Jellal who was standing at the balcony's door, before he approached me. I returned my gaze to the stars, wrapping my arms around me.

"I wanted to apologize for yesterday. I didn't mean to do something like tha-"

"It's fine", I cut him coldly. "It's okay." I heard him sigh behind me, as he came even closer to me.

"It's cold out here, come inside." His words were so soft and gentle, but I remained glaring at the sky for a while longer, before I turned around to look at him, with tears in my eyes.

"Erza-"

I fell on his chest, hugging him tightly, where I kept crying uncontrollably. He felt so warm, and smelled so nice. I couldn't bring myself to look at him. I just wanted to stay in his arms for a while.

"It's just...so hard to live like this", I muttered between my breaths, as I felt him wrapping his arms around me even more tightly, and gently caressing my head and back.

"I know. It'll all be okay. Everything will fall in place." His words reached my ears as whispers, soothening some of the unbearable pain I felt in my chest.

We had been like that for a while, until my mind suddenly snapped, and my eyes widened. It felt like a wave had struck through my entire body, as I recalled some things I wished I never had.

I let go of Jellal and stepped back in terror.

"Erza? What's wrong?" I kept glaring at him, my hands shaking.

"It was you.." I looked at the floor, trying to recall all the details.

"You...I was fighting you when the accident happened....I remember your laughter, your vicious grin...I remember you pointing at me with your magic...throwing me off the cliff..." I looked at him dead in the eye.

"You...where the one who tried to kill me..."

[I'm sorry everyone, but this fanfic will be really short because I don't have any ideas. Unless you have any ideas to propose, it'll probably have like 10 chapters, 15 the best.]
