Gwyn POV
I look around and saw no guards. I took out the pin I had hidden in my hair, unlocked the door, and ran through all the cells and freed all the prisoners.
One prisoner was my best friend, Jacob. He came with me when I went on my mission to her castle, and I never had a chance to see him.
Before he could ask questions, I ran to the yelling and made it to an iron door. The yells stopped, and I barged in.
Everyone was staring at me, and I slowly reach out to my pocket. Mal was held by a guard, Evie had shorter hair and was locked onto a chair, Carlos laid on the floor with cuffs on his hands, and Jay was hung, by his hands, to the ceiling near a guard with a whip. Maleficent's eyes glowed green.
"GET HER!" was all she yelled out, before all the guard tried to catch to me. I took out my dagger, and cut off the iron off Mal's wrist. She snatched one of the guards keys and unchained Carlos, Jay, and Evie, while I knock out the guards.
We ran out and I slammed the door shut, while Mal room out her spell book from her jacket.
"We need a spell to get us out of here, fast." she said quickly moving through her book.
"Hey," I turned to see Jacob running to me, "can you tell me what just happened!"
"Not now, we're in the middle of an escape."
We all ran through the maze of hallways, each leading to a dead end. Carlos and Jay didn't go as fast, but we helped them keep up. We reached another dead end.
"GOT IT. Zoomy zoom zow, get us out of the city now." she yelled when a portal appeared. The portal show a forest, and others who I don't know.
Carlos went first, then Jay, Evie, and Jacob. I was about to go in when I heard yelling behind me and Mal. We turned to see guards and Maleficent.
"If you leave, I swear I'll hurt you more the first time." Mal looked from her mother, to me, and the portal.
"I'm sorry." was all Mal said before pushing me through. A flash blinded me, but when everything became clear, I was at the edge of a forest near the city, and the portal was gone.
Ben POV
I started thinking of how to plan our return to the city, when another portal came from nowhere. Before I could look through it, Jay, Carlos and Evie, whose hair was cut off, and some other guy came through. I look at the four, who looked worse from the last time I saw them.
"Where's Mal?" I asked, trying to help them up. Evie pointed through the portal, and I saw Maleficent standing behind Mal.
Without thinking, I ran through it, right before it closed. When I opened my eyes, I was in front of Mal.
Mal POV
I pushed Gwyn through but someone came out, Ben. He looked at me, and smiled. But before I could do smile back, everything went black.
