Mal POV
I blinked a few times, and looked around, and notice that we were in the apartment we came in before we left to Auradon Prep. Everyone was staring at me, and I stared back.
"What happened to me? The last thing I remember was my mother yelling at me to tell where all of you were." I said, and it was true. I don't remember anything after that.
"From what I know,"Gwyn said, "We were about to go through the portal when your mother stopped us. You looked at her and back at me. The last words you said were 'I'm sorry', then you pushed me through and the portal close."
I remember that, and I realize that Ben wasn't here. I got a quick memory of me talking to Ben, in the dungeon.I told them about what my mother did to me, that she saw and took my memories. We were all quiet, then a barging noise caught our attention.
Audrey's mother looked out the window, and shook her head. "The soldiers are here." Philip opened a cabinet door, and pushed a hidden button. A staircase opened in the floor.
"You all have to hide. Down the stairs is a room, where it has supplies to make sure you're safe. There is also underground tunnels, that leads to multiple parts of the city, and it might lead to part of the castle or dungeon." Philip explained.
"WHAT!? No! We can't be separated again. I'm not leaving!" Audrey yelled out.
"You have to trust us, it is for your safety. If it is safe, we will come down." Aurora said. I look at everyone else, and see them saying their goodbye's. The banged continued downstairs, and Audrey refused to leave. I took Evie's perfume bottle and sprayed her, making her collapse.
Chad carried her down the stairs, taking own last look at his parents. Doug left after, then Jane, Lonnie, Gwyn, and some other girl who I just now notice.
"We'll make sure they're safe." Carlos said, and left down the stairs, and Dude followed. Evie left after and so did Jay. I looked back at the once royalty of Auradon. Beast walked up to me.
"Bring our son back, make sure that he and everyone is safe." I nodded before going down the stairs. I took one last look, all of them looked at me, and went down.
Carlos POV
The stairs kept going, and seemed to take forever, but we finally made it to the last step. In the cave-like room has a small body of water, which looks like it connects to a nearby river. I notice something sticking out of the ground, I walked to it, and saw a chain. I pulled on the chain and it opened to reveal a box. I pulled out the box and brought it to the others.
"Look what I found." I told them, as I lifted up the box, and surprisingly it wasn't as heavy as I thought it would be. Mal looked at the box and opened it, revealing an envelope.
"Dear Children," she read out "If you are reading this, then something terrible is or is about to happen. All of the parent who served in the war found this place and kept it hidden after the villains took over. We all want you to be safe and someday bring back Auradon, the way it was before. In the box are the weapon and items we all used to fight in the war. You can practice in here until you all think it is time to start a rebellion against Maleficent. We all believe in you, be safe. From the Auradon Heroes"
Doug POV
We were all quiet for a moment, surprised to hear what was in the letter. I could believe that they could think of us fighting back. I look around and saw other entrances to the cave, and saw a small shadow.
I walked to it, while everyone else watched. I looked closely at the shadow and saw my cousins. All of them stared, then smiled, and I smiled back. I motioned them to come out, but they tackle hugged me instead. I smiled and laughed like I never done it before.
Mal POV
We all look at Doug, and the ones who were hugging him. I looked around and saw more appearing. Audrey slowly woke up, and saw someone I believe she knew, because she ran up and hugged her.
Most who entered the cave were teenagers. They entered from different parts of the cave, and some swam through the water, and they were mermaids. They came up to the surface and form legs when reached land. I try to process what is happening, then I realize what we had to do.
We need to prepare to fight back, and I know exactly when, on my coronation day.
