Chapter 19- The Cave Barrier

Mal POV

The alarms went on again in the morning and stopped. I wondered what it was, so I walked out of my room to find my mother. I found her in the throne room, along with the guards and goblins. I quickly hid behind a column and heard My mother giving them orders.

"Find them, I know they're here. Look in every household and look for any clue to where they are hiding!" My mother's voice boomed through the room and the soldiers and goblins left. I was about to come out of my hiding spot, when more people entered. I quickly hid again, peaked out to see who it was. It was Jafar, the Evil Queen, and Cruella De Vil.

"Do you know where Evie is? I'm worried that she doesn't have enough blush." Evil Queen said, while looking in a mirror. They looked more royalty then then on the Isle. Evil Queen had a better crown and newer mirror, Jafar had gold almost everything with his snake staff, and Cruella had a newer fur coat and boots.

"No, I don't know where your daughter is, but we have a bigger crisis than not having enough makeup. They are here and I won't stop until I find them." My mother was getting VERY mad, she looked out the window and her eyes glowed green.

"Why not use magic to find them? You don't trust anyone else." Jafar said blankly, as he examined a jewel.

My mother looked back at him, and grinned. "THAT'S BRILLIENTE. I could use a piece of a relative of their to track them."

She pulled on a gargoyle head, and the columns split open. In the columns were each of their parents in cages. The one nearest to me was Mulan and Shang. They saw me, I quietly shushed them, and they remained quiet.

My mother walked to the nearest one to her, which happened to be Aurora and Phillip. They backed away, but a soldier who was still in the room in pulled her and held onto her.

Before I could hear anything else I decided to unlock Mulan's cage. I used my magic to make a  key that could open almost anything,  made a replica of the key and unlock the door .I slowly made my way to the door, and ran to my room.

I looked at the map I had, and saw that one tunnel led to my room. I looked for some sort of button to reveal the hidden door. I eventually found a button behind desk mirror. My bed moved to one side and a staircase opened from where my bed was. I quickly cleaned a bit of my room, grabbed my backpack, and ran through the tunnel. The passage closed the moment I left.

I have to warn them.

Evie POV

Everyone woke up to the sound of sirens, and looked worried. Just like that, it stopped.

I quickly grabbed Jane and the other fairies, along with Ben and Carlos. "Jane, I need you and the other fairies to create a barrier that won't allow anyone in, except for those who have been here before."

"That sounds complicated." She said.

"Just make it seem like this place doesn't exist."

"Okay, we'll try. This is probably their first time doing magic." She and the other fairies formed a circle, and held each other's hands. Just like lightning, a flash of light fill the cave and through the entrances leading to the surface.

"Did it work?" Carlos asked

"Probably best to not find out later." I answered. I suddenly heard someone running through one of the paths.

Ben POV

The running became louder and closer. I walked to where it was heard. It was too dark to see who it was, but the next thing I knew I got knock down.

Mal POV

I couldn't see much in front of me, but I didn't stop. I ran as fast as I could, but I felt someone in my way. I fell on someone.

I looked to see who I bumped into, and it was Ben. "Ben?" I asked

"Mal?" He said back.

I quickly got off of Ben and helped him up. I looked into his eyes and he looked into mine. I had a feeling that he knows.

"Hi" I said

"Hey"

"Listen, I am sorry for what I said to you. My mother took away my memories. Wait, do you remember anything yet?"

"Do this answer your question, because I can look into your eye and I can tell you're not evil."

I can't believe it! I smiled and hugged him and Ben hugged me back. Then I remembered about my mother's plan.

"My mom has a plan that you should all know." I said getting everyone's attention "she is going to use a tracking spell to locate where Audrey is."

"Don't worry, Jane and the other fairies put a barrier spell so no one will find us and so that it seems that this place doesn't exist." Carlos said, while pointing to Jane and the other fairies.

I sighed in relief and looked to the other descendants. "I suggest we help them with learning to fight back"

"We can help, now that we know what we do best and already fought back" Ben said.

We need to fight back, sooner or later. Before it's too late.
