Chapter 23- Coronation Day

Evie POV

Today was the day, the day that we fight back. I was in the cave, preparing my group. Chad held onto his dagger, and Audrey stretched, while those with magical abilities practiced more of their powers. Carlos and Jay did the same with their team. Gwyn and Emily left earlier this morning to find their team in the nearby woods. I was make a potion to make us not feel pain when we strike.

"Hey, Evie," I turned and saw Doug. "I just want you to be careful. I don't know what I'd do if you were hurt."

"That is why I am making a potion so that none of us will be injured." I said, as I held one of the potion bottles.

"Just promise me you'll be safe."

I look at him and he looked at me. "I promise, and I also promise that we'll fix this. Together."

He smiled and I did the same. It is time to strike back.

Mal POV

I was in my coronation dress, and in a carriage going the the Hall. My dress was similar to my dress at Ben's coronation, but this time my dress was a darker shade of purple mixed with some light green in the cape.

I was alone in the carriage, as we made our way to the building through the main city. Everyone was outside on the streets, and all had a frightened look on their faces when I passed them with the guards by me.

When we made it to the coronation hall, most of the villains are attending. I went up the stairs and everyone bowed as I went up. I take a quick look at the roof and saw Jay and his group looking down on me.

I made my way the the main room, and all the villains were present. The Royal villains were in the front, and the rest were behind them. Some of the attendees were Evil Queen, Jafar, Cruella De Vil, Scar in a human form, Gaston, Dr. Facilier, Lady Tremaine and her daughters, and their children.

I walked down the aisle as everyone watched. My eyes looked through the crowd, when I saw a small glimpse of blue hair near the front. In the very front, were the parents of the parents of Ben, Audrey, Chad, Jane, Lonnie, and Doug. They made eye contact with me, and I slowly nodded.

I made it to the main throne, my mother appeared, Diablo was at her side. The door to the hidden cave was behind the throne area. I knew everyone was in position. Beside my mother was the Fairy Godmother's wand and the Dragon's Eye.

My mother walked up to me with a crown and placed it on my head. Everyone became quiet. "Any last words before you officially become the new queen and ruler of Auradon?"

This is it. I looked up and slowly nodded to Jay who was looking through an open window, and nodded to the crowd where Evie was. "Just one word." I got up and turned to the audience as they all looked at me.

It is time. "Now!"
