The sound of her stilettos clicking against the pavement was what broke concentration for both Katrina and I. We were hard at our books in the evening, the night before the big tests, Katrina's final one.
Wilhelmina was drunk as usual. Katrina looked up from her books and locked eyes with me. Her eyes were filled with concern but mine, right the opposite. I shook my head and hated how much Mina's behaviour affected Kat and she didn't even care herself.
Katrina jumped up immediately running towards the living room and I got up and trailed right behind her. Katrina turned the light switch on and searched for the keys which were just on the plastic seat. She grabbed them and opened in record time allowing Mina, who could hardly keep her eyes open, in. She was drunk as ever. I assume that she had been drinking for two nights straight since that was how long she hadn't come home.
"Why are the lights on?" Mina muttered. Katrina helped her out of her 6 inched heels, assuming that was why she couldn't stand on her own two feet and helped her to the room and then tucked her into her bed. I frowned very annoyed by the entire situation.
I made my way back up into my bed, which was the top bed of the bank bed I share with the annoying slut, while Katrina was reluctant to do the same.
"Please switch off the lights." she said, blowded.
"We're trying to study." I yelled back at her, not forgetting to roll my eyes at her.
"Switch-" Mina said and disgorged onto the floor, wetting her sheets. Katrina hurried out of bed and walked Mina to the toilet so that she could gag in there. Once again, I was right behind them and I don't even know why.
"Mina! Are you pregnant?" Katrina suddenly got worried.
"No." She replied but she still couldn't keep her eyes open.
"Don't lie to me." Her voice was suddenly full on command surprising all of us.
"Of course she is not pregnant. She's the drunkest slut alive." I said annoyed.
"Shut up..." Mina said and continued vomiting.
"See!" I said as if that had just proven a point and walked back to the room which reeked of alcohol now. I frowned looking at the floor and refused to clean up Wilhelmina's mess.
"Don't worry, I will clean it up." Kat said from behind me, as if she could read my mind. Mina walked back into the room, her eyes halfway shut, she hopped into her bed.
"The sheets are wet." I warned but all that Mina cared about at this moment was getting her sleep. I shrugged and climbed up the ledder, into bed once again, and watched as Katrina mopped up the goo. "We should have left her outside." I mumbled.

📝Katrina👑
It was morning and I was up early again. I just had a shower and walked back into the room to wake Helen who ran into the bathroom right after that, when the stanch of alcohol hit me. I thought I had gotten rid of it.. I cleaned up again, got dressed, brushed my hair and tied it up, its not like I had an option anyway, my hair was kinky and annoying. It's never straight when I want it to be. before long, I was all done and walked into the kitchen to make some tea for Helen and myself. But then I did not leave Wilhelmina out, I made her a strong cup of coffee but now I was uncertain, whether or not to wake her.
Helen stepped out of the bathroom and smiled at me. Helen was beautiful even if she didn't like to admit it. She was the perfect complexion, beautiful cheeks that I so very much envied and then her perfect teeth, forming that perfect smile...
"Morning." She said as she moved towards the room but stopped dead in her tracks. "Three cups of tea?" She asked a little confused.
"Well Min..." I began trying to explain before being cut off.
"Let her be!" Helen said, her voice not so cheerful as it was a second ago.
"But isn't she supposed to be writing exams today as well?" I said stepping a little forward not wanting to be left in the shadow by Helen who was now walking into the room.
"For what? Look at her! She wont be able to write like that. Besides, I'm sure that won't be the first exam she misses." Helen said, pointing at Mina with a dirty finger everytime she was to say the words 'Her' and 'She'.
Helen had this hatred for Mina even I who lived with them all of my life couldn't understand. I get it, Mina isn't the sweetest girl, we don't always get along... okay maybe normal conversations with Mina weren't there... Scratch that, we never talk... at all, but she was still my sister and I loved her... I love them both. Only wish they loved each other as much.................
Being the shy girl I was, I walked with my head down when I walked into the room and that was when I bumped into a tall solid rock figure... Ty.
"I'm sorry." I quickly apologized.
"No." he tried to stop me. "I'm sorry." he said. I looked up to him and we both smile at each other.
I haven't seen Ty in a long time since we both haven't gone to the resort in some time due to exams, and also because we didn't share any other classes, this was a big campus, if your courses won't similar, there would be little to no chance of ever running into each other.
"Are you ready... for... for the exam?" Ty stuttered, surprisingly.
"I guess I am." I said squinting my eyes at him in confusion. "Are you?"
"Uh, yeah." he was a little hesitant to reply. "Is there some sort of pill you know that I can take to stop this?" he said showing me his shaking hand, trying to cover up his nervousness with a laugh but of course failed miserably and huffed out a breath.
"I've done this for 3 years already, I don't know why this exam is affecting me this much." He admitted, his right hand holding onto the back of his neck.
"Give me your hand." I said and Ty's face was all painted a confused expression.
"What?"
"Give me your right hand." I repeated. he did it even if he slowly elevated it. "Now close your eyes." I said taking a hold of his hand.
"Why?" he asked.
"Trust me." I said and he breathed out a shaky breath before doing as he was told. "Now think of a happy place."
kuku taught me this little trick and it helped me out A LOT. Ty let go and I could feel his hand muscles relax in my hand. Always worked.
Ty's eyes shot open and stared deep into mine.
"How did you- thanks." Ty said and I released his hand already missing his warmth.
I nodded.
I heard very familiar squils making me break my attention from Ty to my wild friends, one of them holding a very unappreciated glare on Ty.
I was about to receive the lecture of my life...
