Chap. 5

cold weather and snow
"wake up baby" I heard kian say as he kissed my lips gently "good morning baby". I said rubbing his chest. I think I was ready.
"Ava wake up". I felt pushing on my arm.
I opened my eyes, it was my brother Noah waking me up.
"Noah what do you want?"
he smacked me in the face and said "Look out the fudging window it's snowing".
I got up and look out. almost 4 inches of snow.
"wow, what time is it Noah?" I looked at my phone it was 11:44 "I'm late for school". I said rushing down the stairs to see my mom on the couch.
"Mom, why didn't you wake me up?" I said heavily breathing
"In case you didn't see, there is 4 inches of snow out there and I have to go to work.. so watch Noah and Lizzie for 45 minutes while Brittany comes over to get them and take them to her house. if you have friends over not a lot. love you babe", she kissed me on my forehead and called Lizzie and Noah down and did the same. then she left.
"Okay guys don't be bad, half a hour and then Britt comes and gets you, Lizzie go get dressed, warm too it's snowing".
I sat on the couch and turned Avengers on for Noah.
I texted Sam.
-what are you doing today-
I heard a knock on the door.
"Liz let's go!"
"I'm getting my princess tiara on"! she screamed as she ran down the stairs.
I opened the door. "Hey Ava your hair looks nice, have you dyed it?" Brittany their baby sitter said.
"Yes, I got a ombré. not much of a change". I said smiling
I hugged the kids bye and shut the door.
2 missed messages.
1 from Sam and 1 from kian? wow.
-nothing much- Sam replied on text.
Kians text said -Hey I'm not doing anything we could hang if you want-
I jumped up. kian wanted to hang out. I ran upstairs and stopped. wait alone with kian in my HOUSE? Wait.. oh well.
I got sweatpants on, and a tank top. I mean we were just hanging out right. or he is trying to get in.
one part of my mind is saying kian doesn't want me like that, but I feel like if I have sex with he'll just run like he did to all the other girls. I'm terrified. my mind was going to war.
maybe kian should come over.
I texted him
-you can come over if you want- I say
I went downstairs and put some popcorn in the microwave.
maybe I'll invite Sam over. I'll invite him if things get weird.
I heard a ding it was kian again
-I'll be over in a few 😌-
I was actually excited.

kian came a half an hour later.
I opened the door and let him in. he was so tall.
"can I sit?" he said
"of course" I said laughing.
"hey I didn't know what candy you liked so I brought skittles, every kind".
he took 6 bags of skittles out
dark, tropical, desserts, original, sour and a special edition.
"Wow kian I love skittles, but only these ones". I said picking up the original.
"All yours I'll dominate these sour ones" he said as he plopped on my couch.
"so what do you want to do?" I said as the microwave went off.
"I don't know just chill I guess, hey we could watch a scary movie." he said putting a handful of skittles in his mouth and doing a sour face.
"Ha! that face is a good one" I shouted as I pulled the popcorn out and brought it out
I walked up to the table, set the popcorn down and walked over to the tv putting a movie in.
I put Freddy Kruger in. "it's a classic" I
laughed.
I sat next to kian. not close but not far.
-
"OMG this parts scary", kian said
he put his head on my chest. I was a little bewildered but let him stay there. I covered my face at the jumpscare. He looked up his face so close to mine. I felt the his breath on my lips he picked up his head and it was close to mine.
his lips were inches from mine.
i wanted to kiss him so bad
he leaned in, when a knock was heard on the door.
we both backed up. I felt awkward "I should get that". "Yeah you should". he said opening another bag of skittles and pouring them in the popcorn.
I opened the door it was FedEX dropping off a package for Ava Di Murcurio
I took it and continued watching the movie.
"We almost kissed", he said
I didn't answer. Why did I let that happen? he just wanted to have sex. "I should be going.. I Have my to go wash my .. dog". he said getting up.
"Okay, bye". I said getting up and following him to the door as he put on his shoes and coat.
he hugged me. I felt better, and less awkward from the kiss.
he kissed my neck.
I shut the door.
yeah. that just happened. kian wasn't like what they all said he was.
