Saturday nights alone are always the best. I looked around my room, Dresser, Closet, empty Mountain Dew can. Then my eyes stopped as a picture of me and kian was up on the board attached with a note, how long was this up here?

"Ava, hi it's kian.. I wanna say that you make me want to wake up every morning with a big ol smile on my face, call me." - bub
with his number attached. I called him right away.
"Kian," I say as he answers
"Yes baby." he said in a deep voice coughing
"How long was that note up there for?"
"The one with the picture, only since yesterday." he said laughing.
"oh." I say
"Come over goober, I wanna see you." he said as he hung up.
I anticipated going over there because I knew Jc and the boys were there.

"Your turn Ava." Sam says as he passes me the Bottle. I spin and it lands on Jc. I got up and kissed Jc on the lips. Kian wasn't mad, I don't think. and we were all pretty drunk anyways. Kian spun, it landed on El. I wasn't upset. because I knew he was all mine.
It was raining. hey, I just realized my birthday is soon. 18.. that's a big number. Kian is older than me by a year, he'll be 19. Wow.

We all ran out in the yard in the rain. and jumped in mud like little kids. "Tag." kian says as he pushes me to the ground into a puddle of dark brown mud
I get up and chase him like crazy.
"Kian! let me catch you." I scream
He stops and pulls me closer. He looks up and says "What did I do so great to deserve someone like you? I must be blessed." he says
"You've been a good boy." I smile
he pulls my lips closer as we kiss, in the rain. Very Cliche Lawley, very.
