Neji x Reader Chapter 1: Death Glares

3rd POV

(f/n) (l/n) was barely trusted. She has been treated like an outcast her whole life. The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, decided to help her. So where is she heading? Well she of course is going to the Hokage's office. She had packed ninja tools and an extra set of clothes, just in case. She wasn't wanted, so she lived by herself. The (l/n) clan was one of the most dangerous, psychotic clans in the world's history. They killed people to get what they wanted. (f/n) tried to change her clan, but they of course didn't change their greedy killer ways.

She finally arrived at the entrance of the Hokage's office. She sighed in regret, but knowing that she didn't have a choice, she proceeded on. Before (f/n) got pulled out of the academy, she had the highest grades in her class, next to Sasuke Uchiha. But (f/n) thought that she was still sort of weak by not going to the academy. It wasn't all her fault, the teachers refused to teach her. And that basically was (f/n)'s life.

Your POV

I reached the door of the Hokage's office, and all I could hear was yelling. Not paying any attention I walk in to see a blonde haired boy with an orange and blue jumpsuit, a pinkette girl, a duck butt boy, and a man with a mask covering his lower face. Were they arguing with Lord Hokage? I just stood at the doorway, being absolutely silent. About two minutes later, I spoke up. " Um Lord Hokage, you summoned me.." I said plainly. Everyone turned around to see me, and I walked forward. "Yes, come here (f/n)." said the elderly Hokage. The blonde haired boy I noticed before turned to me. "Hey old man, who is she?" he asked, referring to me. The pinkette girl got mad at her teammates question, and as a reaction she punched him in the head, leaving a huge red bump. I smirked, and looked back at the Hokage. 'Oh no, did I interrupt them?' I quickly thought, then I shook it away. The Hokage continued to speak. "(f/n), I have great news for you. I have found a jounin who was willing to teach you." The Hokage said. I felt a huge smile spread on my face, but hid it. Cause I admit, I think my smile looks crappy. The man with the mask covering his face interrupted. " Alright, I will come back later Lord Hokage. Let's go Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke." the masked man said before leaving the room. Focusing back on my discussion with the Hokage, he started again. "You will get to meet him today, I summoned him earlier so he should be here soon." finished the Hokage. I nodded. I wondered what my new teacher would be like.. I dazed out for a while until a heard the door burst open, snapping back into reality. A man with a green jumpsuit and bowl hair cut jumped into the room with such enthusiasm . He nearly scared me! "Hey, I'm here!" the bowl cut man bellowed. The Hokage motioned the man to come closer, which the bowl cut man walked up to him. "Guy this is (f/n) and she will be your new student." said the Hokage. Guy looked at me, then gave a thumbs up pose. "Hey, great to meet you. As of today you are my personal student!" yelled Guy. I couldn't help but give a small smirk. "Guy, take her out to give her the test." the Hokage said. Guy nodded in agreement. "Alright, lets go (f/n)." Guy said to me.

Guy Sensei took us to some type of training ground. I sat down on one of the logs silently. "Alright (f/n), tell me about yourself." Guy said finally. I hesitated. "Um, I'm (f/n) (l/n). I don't really have any friends, nor anybody really that close to me in general." I said. Guy gave me a look that said he wanted to know more, so I proceeded on. "I don't technically have any interests. But my number one goal is to track down my clan and kill them." I said the last part coldly. Guy's eyes widened at my statement. "Well, that's enough about you. I'll tell you a bit about me." Guy said. "I am Might Guy. And I absolutely LOVE curry. It gives me a crap load of energy." Guy chuckled.I just sat still, face expressionless. "I also have my own squad. I met them a little over a year ago. That's it about me." Guy finished. I was about to speak until I was interrupted. "GUY SENSEI!!" shouted someone. Both me and Guy Sensei turned around to see three people running towards us. "Oh Lee, Tenten, Neji you are here!" Guy Sensei said as he turned to me. "This is (f/n) (l/n). And she is my new personal student." Guy Sensei yelled with enthusiasm. 'These guys look puny' I thought for a moment. One of Guy's students were giving a really serious glare. He had pure clear eyes, and long brownish hair that drooped out. I had to admit, his glares were creeping me out. So I decided to say something. "Yo, what's up." I said plainly. 'WHY THE HECK DID I JUST SAY THAT?!?' I screamed in my head. The girl of Guy's squad looked at me. "Hey, I'm Tenten. Nice to meet you!" greeted the brunette Tenten. I smirked at her weirdly, but quickly covered it up. Then the boy that had the same bowl cut hair as Guy Sensei spoke up." Hello, I'm Rock Lee. And I am Guy Sensei's number one student." Lee said with enthusiasm. I sweat dropped, cause of his rambling. Guy pointed at the boy who was giving the death glares. "(f/n), this is Neji Hyuga. He isn't really a talker type." Guy said finally. I looked at Neji with confusion. I have had enough glares in my life so I could care less if one of Guy Sensei's students glared at me, cause I could take a hit.

I wanted to speak up to Neji, so I did. "Hey, do you have some sort of problem with me or something?" I asked Neji. But Neji completely ignored me. "Neji, don't be rude. You just met her." Tenten spoke up for me. Neji turned to Tenten. "Her clan killed my mother, so you can't expect me to be easy on her." Neji said coldly. I felt my eyes widened, Tenten's too. "Well Neji, that may be a reason to give her daggers but come on, can't you be a little nicer." Tenten said to Neji. Neji turned his head away from Tenten. My blood started to boil. 'WHY DOES EVERYONE HAVE SOMETHING AGAINST ME!!' I screamed in my head. An anger mark approached over my head a few minutes later, then I screamed at Neji. "YOU DON"T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE A PART OF A CLAN LIKE THIS. SO SHUT UP!" I almost started to cry, but I swallowed the tears back. Tenten looked at me with concern. "(f/n), he has the Hyuga Clan curse." Tenten said lowly. Neji glared at Tenten so harshly that it was like sun rays. I turned around, cause I felt two tears trickle down my cheek. Without making a sound, I left.

3rd POV

"(f/n), where are you going?" asked Lee with confusion in his tone. Guy put a hand of comfort on Lee's shoulder. "Basically her whole life she has been unwanted and ignored. To be honest, I feel bad for (f/n) but there is nothing we can do about it." said Guy Sensei. Tenten glanced at Guy Sensei, then in the direction that (f/n) ran in. Tenten decided to go after (f/n), so she ran toward the wooded area. "Tenten!!" Lee shouted. Neji got annoyed with Lee. "Shut up, she's already gone. I will kill every one in the (l/n) Clan, including (f/n)." Neji finished. Guy Sensei and Lee just stared at Neji with shock.

Your POV

A couple of more tears flew out of my eyes and down my cheeks, but I cleaned it up quickly. I wasn't the type of person to cry at all, but why now? I heard fast footsteps behind me, so I hid behind a tree to see who it is. It could be anyone really. Ninjas from other nations. Neji. But I shoved those thoughts to the back of my head. I saw a shadow a couple of trees down. 'Is that Tenten?' I asked myself. Just in case she was coming to attack me, I set up a couple of traps, just to be on the safe side. After I set up all of the traps I started to notice the glare Neji gave me. It was like my elder brother's....
