**One note before I start: This next part of the story is (f/n)'s dream. (f/n) is about 3 years old in this dream. It will give a lot of background info. Don't worry, you'll understand soon!**
Reader's POV
"Get away from me!!" I scream as I am being cornered. My parents are in front of me, grinning evilly and laughing. My mother pulled out a kunai and my father grabbed a hold of a sleeve on my shirt. "I hope you plan on changing your mind (f/n).." said my mother in a demonic tone. Tears start to form in my young eyes. "STOP, she's only a young child!" someone yells from behind. Both of my parents turn around to see a figure which was as dark as a shadow. "Who are you?" asked my mother angrily. The figure came closer. "That's not really any of your concern.. Release the child immediately." the figure demanded calmly. My parents stood still for about a minute in silence, then they start to laugh hysterically. "And what if we don't?" my father asked, still laughing at the remark. The dark figure makes a clone which punches my father straight across the face. My mothers face goes pale as she attempts to cut through the clone, but fails. Tears are still pricking from my eyes and falling down my face. A clone appears behind me, shielding me from my attacking mother. My body was in complete shock by then, I couldn't even move an inch. My father that was once on the ground grabbed a hold of my ankle while the clone was shielding me from my upset mother. I try to kick away from his hard grip but I fail horribly. My fathers finger nails were digging deep into my flesh, drawing a bit of blood. The figure kicks my father up, sending him many feet through the air. The clone that was once protecting me poofed away. When my mother reached me, she grabbed a hold of my hair, which was (h/l) and (h/c). As she tugged it, more tears started to spew from the corners of my eyes. My mothers spare hand grabs a hold of my neck, which causes me to choke on my tears. The shadow figure appeared behind my mother and kicked her across the face. The kunai that was in my mothers hand cuts through my hair which lands onto the floor below me. My once (h/l) was cut shorter. My whole body was in shock at that very moment. Then my mind goes blank.
When I woke up my face was hot and sweat was slipping down my cheeks. Tears start to pour out of my eyes and drip down my chin. 'I had THAT dream again..'
About an hour later everyone else was up. But something wasn't right. They all had bags under their eyelids. "What's the matter?" I asked. Guy Sensei sighed before saying, "I could ask you the same thing (f/n)." I gave him a confused look. "Whattya mean by that? I-I'm fine.." I stutter out the last part. Tenten sighs, looking at Guy Sensei. "You didn't know that you were screaming?" Tenten asks me. My face goes pale. 'Ugh oh. I have some explaining to do..' . "Oh was I, I didn't know that." I finally manage to say. Neji who wasn't interested in the conversation anymore started to walk away. Guy Sensei just sighed and started to follow Neji. "We have to continue on this mission now." says Guy Sensei. Before he could even finish his sentence I was running in the direction of the next small town.
